honestly i really like the concept but its definitely not for everyone. long grind, scarce rewards, and constant crashing of the game you just made and played for 20 mins....then boom, nothing, its all gone, try again. all because of server, "connection time out". Really feeling like a cash grab now.
Bought the Humble Bundle, DLC shows as active in my Steam account but nothing is available in-game with no way to claim it. Bugs happen, no big deal, so I opened a support ticket. They have since repeatedly moved the status to "awaiting reply" without actually doing anything to try to get the ticket to close. *Do not give these scumbags money.*
Having been a huge fan of the original Dungeon Defenders, I played this one when it first came out. I was very disappointed at how unpleasantly monetized it was, and ended up uninstalling when I finally had enough. Fast forward to today, and I grabbed a Humble Bundle that included a bunch of gems to buy characters with. Load the game up, claim every single thing form the bundle one by one from my in-game mail, and buy a new character to try from level 1 to relearn the game. Miserable experience. Accidentally picked a harder difficulty than intended because the campaign kept telling me it was all a tutorial and they'd change my hero deck if I picked that one, died *immediately*, and then couldn't interact with anything until I exited the game. It's still heavily monetized, and it still barely works. It makes it feel like the game was an afterthought all alone. Maybe if I'd played the past nearly a decade consistently, I'd appreciate the jank. I'd find the poor performance and awkward mouse sensitivity endearing. I haven't, though, and I most certainly don't appreciate the way it plays or feels. If you want to play Dungeon Defenders, just play the OG or Awakened. Hell, I'd rather play Eternity than this.
I think I played this on ps4, when I was console gaming, I liked it, so when I saw it was on PC, I wanted to play it again. Its a good tower defense game.
great game if you love TD games
jogasso
Wow this game sucks. It doesnt open and it keeps say this "operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software (0xe1)".. im Done playing this game see you guys in a couple months
