Duck and the Land of Flightless Birds

Pretty fun game, challenging platformer with cute art.

Seems great the story is super wacky and I love the art style, it's so cute!! I love the frustrating gameplay too, some of the enemy placement is fiendish! It gives me super nostalgic vibes for games I played on the amiga in the early 90s. I wish it had an option to fall through a platform like you get from most platformers, but that would probably make traversing some sections too easy. I did have significant issues with getting it to play on the correct monitor, and feel like having more display options would really help this as if I took it off of full screen it was then so small I couldn't see it. This could totally be a me issue though. Also the game didn't seem to recognise that I was using a controller even though it took the inputs no problem, this did result in anytime new functions were unlocked I had to trial and error with button pressing to discover how to do the new thing. I do hope there is not going to be anything more complex coming down the line that I cannot discover in this manner. All in all really fun and I can't wait to play more.

Worth the wait.

This game makes me feel like I'm a kid again playing my fav snes games like super mario world and megaman. Incredibly charming art style and soundtrack that you can tell a lot of hard work and love went into. Love the tug of war levelling system and all of the different weapons that change as you level up. Cool Duck is my goat 🐥

Really cute & charming game! Lovely soundtrack & visuals, and the surprising amount of depth & varied use-cases to the different attacks (shoutouts to leaf airburst tech). Lots of fun panic moments. Really loved the objects you can "talk to / inspect" jrpg style and the little quests you can go on in some of the areas. Very sweet finale.

Super cute indie platformer. You're going to love it!

This game was wonderful to play from start to finish. The story was simple yet engaging; The leveling system rewarded you for keeping on your toes, while not being overly punishing; and the music and visuals were fantastic! It is also not a super long game that won't ask for too much of your time; while also having various secrets, cheats, and challenges to keep you engaged if you want to play for longer! My only complaint for the game are that music seemed overly loud by default and I had to lower them in settings, so that is something to keep in mind. With all that being said, I would highly recommend playing it.
