Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sure. It's a bit old now, but it's basically diablo-in-space. Plus coop. It feels a little slow-paced and things are a bit random-heavy, so play it with a friend or two who can talk entertainingly during the lulls.
Diablo-like action RPG with slow progression in deep space. Brilliant, if you like this genres.
Drox Operative is kind of like Diablo in space. It has many of the features of earlier Soldak games like factions and diplomacy and randomly generated enviroments and such. I like all of Soldaks games and Drox Operative is no exception. It's fun and absorbing. Even though most people say to get Drox Operative 2 instead I prefer this one. It just seems more well rounded and the expansion is great! A must buy if you are interested in space games or Diablo style games.
Requirements: Potato Graphics: Retro low budget 90s Gameplay: Deep, engaging, and fascinating Replayability: infinite Have you ever wanted to play an ARPG while some bots play a high-stakes 4X game? Have you ever wanted to subtly incite war between spacefaring empires just to maximise your own profit and relations? You can do this and more in Drox Operative. You make a ship, get gear, and fly around a Sector while maintaining relations with (and manipulating) the races in such a sector to try and win. Participate in tense wars as the sector's situation constantly evolves around you - the astropolitical scenario will change whether you will it or not, creating the feel of a living world. However, it will inevitably explode into full scale war at some point, so be ready. Upgrade your ship with a dynamic slot-based system where your slots are in three sets that can be customised however you please. Explore the sector, constantly being harassed by hordes of neutral monster ships that seemingly come from nowhere. And if your sector drags on for ages, you'll probably win by accident. A very fun experience. I give it the number of monster ships you encounter in the average game over the number of races left at the end of such a game.
This game is well worth the idle hour or so. This is the first 2d game if played in many years that i liked enough to play this much. That last one was diablo...or maybe starcraft.
I can't describe this game. All I can say is that it is really good. Once it clicks, you can't stop playing it. Don't mind my low hours. A lot of my hours were offline.
.
I bought the game off soldak's website. Requested for a steam key afterwards with an online receipt and the developer was kind enough to share it with me. Recommending this game just for that. Don't mind the hours played, most of my game time was before steam
