Recommended, but with quite a few things to improve The game has a really good concept and a lot of potential. I like the combination of driving, repairing vehicles, exploring, and the different activities available. However, during my first few hours, I ran into several issues that made the experience quite frustrating. Some of the main problems I encountered were: * The keybinding system is very limited. It would be important to allow players to customize practically every control. * Having to use Enter to get in and out of vehicles is quite inconvenient, especially when the key cannot be properly remapped. * I had problems with the needs system, particularly when trying to use the bathroom. * I wasn’t sure how the save system works. I exited the game and, when I came back, my progress had been reset. A clear indication of when the game saves would be very helpful. * The starting motorcycle got stuck inside a crate, and I couldn’t find any way to get it unstuck. A vehicle recovery or reset option would be very useful. * The introduction to the NPCs and the story is too limited. The game starts giving you tasks from characters you barely know, and it’s not very clear who they are or why you’re helping them. * The text-based NPC conversations took me out of the immersion. Voice acting, better animations, or simply a more developed introduction to the world could help a lot. * I also tried the farming system. I was able to plant the seeds, but I couldn’t figure out how to use the watering can that was nearby. Some guidance for these mechanics would be helpful. I think many of these issues could be solved with better tutorials, clearer instructions, quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes. Despite all of this, I don’t think the game is bad. Quite the opposite. I think it has a very interesting foundation and a lot of potential. The driving, vehicles, repairs, and different activities make it feel like there is a really fun experience here. My recommendation would be for the developer to keep working on the controls, bugs, save system, interactions, and introduction to the world. If these areas are improved, I think Drive Me Broke could become a really enjoyable game.
Es macht mir sehr viel Spaß
Im on the quest where you have to deliver the boxes to the pub but i dont know where to actually put the boxes so a little marker on the map would be cool. You could even give npcs their own colours so you can keep multiple markers from different quests down at the same time. Other than that its a great game and definitely has the potential to be a great game full of whacky stuff (Also forgot to say but ive very rarely experienced any bugs or lagged)
JE TO BOMBA TEN SKYLINE KDYZ BUDU JEZDIT A BUDE DELAT MHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SUTUTUTUTUTUU
The game does kinda remind me of Mon Bazou and my summer car game but at a very early stage. The game does have a number of bugs but it looks like the dev is actively fixing these issues few at a time. There are no tutorials in the game so you do have to figure out a lot of stuff on your own. There does need to be some rebalancing like how the meters fill up and how long the day is cause now its very short and tweaks in the controls like changing the screwing from middle mouse button to right and left mouse mutton so players can just hold the button makes it more easier. It show promise im hoping to see what more the game will bring for the future
Fun little game. Very similar to MSC. There's a few bugs here and there but nothing a restart wont fix. We really need an option to bind "Enter drive mode" though.
The core idea of the game is really good, but the technical side still needs quite a bit of work. There are plenty of bugs, both visual and gameplay-related. One of the biggest issues is driving. Sometimes you can die seemingly at random while driving a car, and the traffic AI is pretty bad. Cars may completely ignore you and crash into you from behind, or suddenly move into the oncoming lane for no apparent reason. That said, the game is still playable, and the developer is actively supporting it and regularly releasing updates with various fixes, which is definitely a good sign. Car assembly itself isn't difficult. If you can tell the difference between a steering wheel and a wheel, you'll probably be fine. Races are another area that needs improvement. NPCs seem to follow strictly predefined routes, which often leads to situations where they simply push you off the track. Once that happens, there is usually little reason to continue the race. Since races are only available during certain in-game time periods, you then have to wait for the next opportunity. This also highlights one of the game's bigger problems: too many activities and quests are tied to specific in-game times. You often end up just waiting, and unfortunately there isn't much to do during those periods. Overall, I recommend the game because the concept is interesting and there is already something enjoyable here. I'm giving it a positive review mostly in the hope that the developer continues improving it and fixes the major technical and gameplay issues.
