I absolutely love the cleaning process: scrubbing dirty surfaces and putting things in their proper places is incredibly meditative and satisfying. The graphics are vibrant, the controls are intuitive, and the sense of satisfaction from a spotless home is off the charts. It’s the perfect game to switch off your brain and enjoy the aesthetic experience!

Right from the start, the game shows its casual approach to the tasks you have to complete. First of all, all the tools you’ll ever need are already available from a ring menu for quick access. This means there’s no need to buy new things or upgrade them because everything already does the best job it can. There’s an axe, trash bag, mop, hammer, and a bunch of other tools that will all find their use. There’s also no need to worry about materials because everything is done with a tool. For instance, fixing a hole in the wall is done simply by selecting the hammer and hitting the hole a few times. Cleaning or using a paint roller changes the area so you know you’re making progress, and the action autocompletes when you’re left with just a small area, so you don’t have to be perfect. Secondly, although the game helps you identify which tool is needed when you point at an object or game asset, you can’t skip the objectives that follow in order. So, while the first step is to cut bushes and old trees, the game doesn’t let you pick up trash around the location, even though you already know that’s going to be an objective later on. You will go through three locations that increase in size, but the objectives pretty much follow the same pattern. Although nothing is marked, you can find the required tasks quickly because the locations are small and prevent you from wandering off through invisible or physical walls. The first location is easy to maneuver because it’s a small barn, while the second shop location already shows a small issue. There’s no highlight or visual clue for objectives, so you need to look for them yourself. If you’re not thorough, you can easily miss a piece of trash or a small patch of broken planks on the wall, and then wander around the location looking for the thing you missed. The third and final location, a big house and a barn, doesn’t have that problem. One disappointing element is the furniture. In the second and third locations, you have to place several objects, but they don’t have a set spot, and placement is entirely up to you. This means you can put a lot of effort and time into placing everything properly, or you can just take the easy path and drop everything in a corner. Both options are valid and will complete the objective. Although it doesn’t come with elaborate mechanics or lots of stages, the game is still a fun distraction for an hour or so, and you can finish it in a single sitting.

It's very similar to House Flipper, which is a big plus. I spent several dozen hours there back in the day, and I think I'll have to do the same here. The game is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. I give it a 9 out of 10.

Simpel, gemütlich - Reparieren und säubern. Ein sehr sehr kurzes Game und vor allem sehr einfach gehalten was Aufträge und die Ausübung angeht, aber wer für 1,5 bis 2h reinschauen will und gerne die Art von Games spielt, kann das gerne machen.

No monsters or gunfights, just dirt, dust, and cleaning. Sounds boring, but you gradually get hooked and start enjoying it.
