It's passable. Different.
It's a nice little point-and-click adventure puzzle game about venturing into paintings. Instructions for each puzzle are not given, so you have to figure out what you're supposed to do and what the objective is. Some were more challenging than others. The illustrations are good and the music sets the mood. Note that there are no hidden object games. Some backtracking is necessary. Get it on sale in a bundle if you can.
A couple of the achievements were a pain in the @$$. Timed and not enough time. So back up your saves frequently and take screenshot/pause/look at screenshot and make moves, then repeat. Charming game just like a fantasy hidden object game without the hidden object scenes. Better, actually.

I first played this game as a child and I have to say I still love it. The art style is really pretty and the story is somewhat compelling but lacking a little in terms of the ending. However, given that it came out over 10 years ago and only took me ~2 hrs to finish, it might not be worth it for nearly $15 unless you have a nostalgic attachment to the game like I do. Also had some problems with the cut scene graphics, the colours and framing didn't load properly at all.
Gorgeous, memorable and fun. A bit short however.
I had a lot of fun with this. The story is interesting and the art is gorgeous. Some of the puzzles are types that are frustrating to me, and there were a couple where I wasn't clear on what I was doing. The hints are pretty decent, but they will not help if you're trying to find, say, one of six fragments of glass you need. With no guide, playing casually, this took a little under 2.5 hours. Decent entertainment-for-cost if you get the bundle on sale! I see some complaints from other folks that it wasn't clear this was part one of three, and that's fair; in-game I didn't notice any messages about the other two. However, I felt like the ending was reasonably satisfying as a standalone, as Iris is out of immediate peril.
I absolutely ADORE this game. I can't say enough words about this art style of this game, it's literally too beautiful! The story is really beautiful, the music just great and what surprised me was the excellent voice acting in this! 10/10
Stunning Game
Okay, I'll admit it, HOG/casual games are a guilty pleasure of mine and they're a nice respite in between shooters and action games. My only complaint is that most are designed around teen girl themes. (sorry if that isn't politically correct) Drawn is more of a puzzler/adventure then a HOG but they all fall in that casual game category. Drawn doesn't have a totally mature theme but is a nice fantasy fairy tale in which you are rescuing a little girl who escapes "into" paintings. Puzzles are fair and make sense and there's a hint system when you get stuck. Music is relaxing and the story interesting. Might be short if you continually use the hint system took me 6 hours with minimal hint use. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a casual puzzler.
This game is amazing. It has a good story, great looking art style, challenging puzzles, and suspenseful music. I remember playing the sequel when I was younger and thought it was good. playing the first one years later makes the sequel way better. Honestly I think this is an underrated trilogy which deserves more love. Please get this game and show it to other people.
