My humble review of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, 6 years later. I've played this game on console back when it first released and had done everything at the time before the release of the -A NEW POWER AWAKENS' dlc-, you can get all the trophies of this game in 6 or less days, you can do all submissions without ever needing to use the time travel if you keep cheking the maps and when you can and cannot travel between locations. Story wise, its Dragon Ball Z with a pinth of OG Dragon Ball, two tv specials/films and Daima to close and be the entirity of Dragon Ball Z era, the recrations of the scenes in anime and manga are very well made, even some changes are welcomed here because even so being an adaptation some changes needed to be made and are so mininal that it can pass without dameging the story that much, we also got some context and explanation of some minor things that were well put in here (like why Great Saiyaman has green and black colors, Goten and Trunks being normal kids with their respective fathers, some more details about some fights to list a few) and I cannot forget the "Jiraiya 2" they made here with Mirai Gohan in -TRUNKS, WARRIOR OF HOPE- that is pretty much the final part of Jiraiya versus Pain in Naruto SUNS 2, that was brutal and very well done, showing how tragic the death of Mirai Gohan was and puting a little more weight in his death and elevating even more Mirai Trunks to put an end to the androids; the DLC of Bardock was also very well done, the 23rd World Tournament was the first DLC to show how much the style of OG Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z changed and to finish this with a absolut banger, Goku's Next Journey today hits different after the death of Akira Toriyama, the interaction of Pan and Bra for me is pure gold just like Goten and Trunks being normal kids in the Buu Saga with their fathers if not more that this moment, overall this six DLC were well made, I understand the decision to split the first DLC into two parts because of covid but nowadays it is more accepted, but after this I need to start saying some things I disliked in the Daima DLCs... Why ONLY HERE in part 2 of the DLC the player gets a bonus for owning and have played the first part of the DLC but in -A NEW POWER AWAKENS- you dont get ? Also, why you lose some progress in the skill three you did in part one when you start the part two ? in my save I had some specials and transformations maxed out and I was level 106, but when I started the part 2 Daima DLC i went down to level 82 and lost some upgrades from my skill three, the other dlcs this doesnt affect that much because they are stories with other characters and maybe only the Bills DLC suffers from this but we use that DLC only to get a level high enough to start doing the second part that it doesnt matter that much and also I lost some healing itens I've bought before starting the part 2 daima dlc that i've bought after finishing part 1 daima dlc, just why ? Why repeating the same tutorials of controllers and soul emblems every single time you start the dlcs ? even though with this things to irritate me a little I had a great time with the Daima DLC, they adapted very well this arc of Dragon Ball, dont know if I want to come back and get every single skill three skills but overall this game is one of the best adaptations of the anime we have.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.71/day in the week to Jul 23 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Lubię to Nie lubię tego Bigos to klasyczne polskie danie z kapusty, mięsa i wędlin, najlepiej smakuje po kilku dniach duszenia i odgrzewania. Składniki (na około 6–7 litrów bigosu) 2 kg kapusty kiszonej 2 kg świeżej białej kapusty 500 g łopatki wieprzowej 500 g schabu wieprzowego 500 g łopatki wołowej 300–500 g boczku surowego i wędzonego 200 g kiełbasy wędzonej (np. myśliwskiej) 100 g suszonych grzybów (borowiki, podgrzybki) 50–60 g suszonych śliwek lub powideł śliwkowych 2–3 duże cebule 50–100 g smalcu 1 szklanka czerwonego wytrawnego wina (opcjonalnie) Przyprawy: liście laurowe, ziele angielskie, jałowiec, goździk, pieprz, majeranek, kminek (opcjonalnie) Przygotowanie krok po kroku Namocz grzyby w 500 ml wody na kilka godzin lub całą noc, następnie odcedź i pokrój na mniejsze kawałki, zachowując wodę z moczenia. Kapustę kiszoną odciśnij z nadmiaru soku i posiekaj. Świeżą kapustę sparz wrzątkiem i dodaj do kiszonej. Wlej wodę z moczenia grzybów i wino, jeśli używasz. Można też pasteryzować w słoikach, co pozwala przechowywać go kilka miesięcy. Podawaj gorący, najlepiej z ciemnym pieczywem, ziemniakami lub kluskami. Ten przepis łączy tradycyjne składniki i techniki, zapewniając aromatyczny, sycący bigos, który jest kwintesencją polskiej kuchni domowej i staropolskiej tradycji kulinarnej

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is, in my opinion, the best way to experience the Dragon Ball story in video game form. The game's greatest strength is how faithfully it recreates the anime. Through cutscenes, voice acting, and major battles, you get to relive the story from Dragon Ball all the way through the more recent content introduced via DLC. Whether you're revisiting the series or experiencing parts of it for the first time, Kakarot does an excellent job of making you feel like you're playing through the anime itself. The boss fights are often highlights, especially the iconic battles that fans know and love. Watching the story unfold while taking part in those moments yourself is incredibly satisfying and was the main reason I kept playing. The combat is easy to pick up and accessible to almost anyone. You don't need to master complicated fighting game mechanics to enjoy it. While there are dodges, special attacks, and some strategy involved, most encounters can be handled without a steep learning curve. For some players, this accessibility will be a positive. Personally, I would have preferred a little more challenge and depth. My biggest criticism is the open world. While it's large and gives you freedom to explore, I rarely found it particularly engaging. Much of the time you're collecting orbs, flying between objectives, or fighting random enemies, and I often found myself wanting to get back to the next story mission as quickly as possible. The narrative was so much more interesting than the activities in the world that the exploration sometimes felt like a distraction rather than an enhancement. I also wasn't a fan of the constant damage numbers appearing during combat. While they help communicate progression, I found them distracting and felt they took away from the spectacle of the fights themselves. Despite these criticisms, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Kakarot because the story carries the experience. If you're looking for deep combat mechanics or a particularly engaging open world, there are better options available. However, if you're a Dragon Ball fan and want to relive the series in an interactive way, I genuinely believe this is the best adaptation of the anime that gaming has to offer. For me, Kakarot succeeds because it understands what most fans are here for: the story, the characters, and the iconic moments that made Dragon Ball special in the first place.
