DRAGON BALL GEKISHIN SQUADRA is Dragon Ball's first team-oriented free to play game.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

This game is simple and fun plus its Dragon Ball so if your a fan that's a plus, Balance characters etc are an issue but the biggest issue is that the company that made it is so PC and abysmal that it was doomed to fail immediately. Every time i try and like it the biggest barrier is communication no voice or text chat in game makes it impossible to communicate properly with people leading to feeding, bad plays and just no teamwork at all because Bandai Namco is horrified that some people might be toxic and ruin their kid friendly brand it makes the game unplayable you WILL lose matches far more then you win unless your playing against people that throw themself at you allowing you to get 6 stacks of snowball and be neigh unkillable or they are playing on phone but against a decent team usually ones that are actually in VC somewhere you will be dismantled. Until they add proper communication (Which They Wont) this game will continue to die until it gets shut down maybe the community can make something after for it that's better then whatever this old rotting executive can throw up

Even though I wasn't there for the beginning of what was Project Multi turned into Squadra, I enjoyed the premise of a Dragon Ball MOBA game (albeit, starting at late season 5, season 6), with different characters, mechanics and tactics, and customizations to show off, without having played any MOBA games before. I had a review for this game mid season that I put off, but after watching the Anniversary Livestream and seeing what is to be expected in the future, I feel like I gotta say it now. Like many said, it's going to be different from what it is now. I already had problems with this game, some obvious like the in-game currencies (and even the "best price" 1 time bundles feeling like you're buying a new game), some characters being preferable over others in patches or releases, and the amount of bots you encounter. Now, with what seems to be a new gamemode to overhaul literally everything Squadra was already, it dissapoints me in the fact that the game's previous issues are not even being tackled, and if they are, it is such a random way to go about. Tapping towers ain't rewarding, so buff continuous attempts and certain characters' taps, overpowered characters, patch and balance them, battle pass + star collection + card system + more feeling underwhelming, then take the community's notes into account to try to see what could be done to better it! But from what I've seen and heard from others, the game devs don't listen, it just isn't getting better and instead try to hype with new characters and season to hopefully get new people to spend money on a character that is likely bugged, meh, or absolutely nerfed in the future. I am wanting to be hopeful for the new gamemode, but I like this for what it is. I just hope it doesn't crash everything Squadra was what I got used to, also, the developer letter saying that it's being overhauled cause the game's "strategic depth and knowledge-based mechanics" was messing with new players is such a punch in the gut, calling me an idiot lmao.
Torture
its nice, but sometimes teammates ♥♥♥♥ up your game
I write this review with a profound feeling of sadness for Gekishin Squadra, in 2 months since I write this review (August of 2026) It will be completely changed from a MOBA to a Hero Shooter. I've been following this game since the Open Beta from last year and I really feel like the Dev team had much passion for Dragon Ball as a franchise. The kits for the least popular characters like Gamma 1 & 2, Uub or Baby were really fun to use, it's a shame that they never fixed the problems this game had and never got a bigger and sustainable playerbase, even with the overhaul of genres it's possible that this game dies the next year, RIP Gekishin Squadra MOBA Siento realmente mucha pena por Gekishin Squadra, en 2 meses desde que hago esta review (Agosto de 2026) será completamente cambiado de genero de un MOBA a lo que parece ser un Hero shooter.
this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game is the most torturous ♥♥♥♥ ever and then they decided to drop goku black which everyone thought would be good but NO hes the most stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ character ever and it's awful; if you're an avid player, take a hiatus to avoid this meta
