Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

i'm a newer DA fan (DATV was the first game in the series that i played) so now i'm working my way through the older games in the series and am just falling more and more in love with thedas and its characters and lore. being that i started out with DATV, i don't think i was fully aware of how dark DAO could get (this is apparently pretty characteristic of DA2 and DAI as well). imagine my surprise after blindly starting a female city elf playthrough... (iykyk) the characters were all memorable and unique, the setting was immersive, and i really felt like the choices i was making mattered and had weight. i really appreciated DAO's balance of having moments of levity and funny one-liners as well as not shying away from or watering down the relevant darker subject matter explored in-game (racism, slavery, treatment of mages, the caste system, etc etc etc). overall a 10/10 game that still holds its own and is well worth a playthrough nearly 20 years after release!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is an incredible RPG. The choices are impactful, plentiful and rewarding. Truly great characters, a fantastic cast of companions. Great combat with diverse character builds. A genuinely impressive origin system, with 6 different entirely unique starts to the game that ties deeply throughout the game. An RPG where choices truly matter. Who you choose to be has serious impact on the story and the characters you interact with. This is a must play for any RPG fan, whether you are more into CRPGs or Action RPGs, this game has something for everyone.

Game is sadly broken and no way to fix it on modern PC's.
They do not make 'em like this anymore. [Tip: put graphics on medium == a lot less crashing] Some positives... + Amazing story + Interesting companions + Cool decisions + Fun skills and build possibilities + Has that proper RPG feel + Good music + Decent graphics (even now) Some negatives... - Combat is just okay - Most encounters a very easy, some have an insane difficulty spike - Empty cities - Stupid small inventory - Crashing - Some gamebreaking bugs Overall a good game.
Best Dragon Age game in the series! Although I played DAI first (after getting it for free) and then DA2 (yeah I kind of played it backwards lol), DAO definitely does the best job of setting up the world and the lore (even though imo I found it just as easy to immerse myself in those three DA games) ¯\*(ツ)*/¯ The story in DAO is fantastic. Your relationships with your companions and the choices you make genuinely matter. Every companion has compelling dialogue and memorable interactions, both with the Warden and with each other, making the party feel alive. The combat is also more tactical than I remember from playing DA2 and DAI, which I really enjoyed. My only issue is that it crashed pretty frequently, but I found a Steam review recommending the 4gb-patch, and after installing it, the game ran seamlessly 9.5/10 - Would play again (and build out my canon world state lol)
This ♥♥♥♥ is broken, I can't complete a full playthrough unlike base DAO which can be a bit janky, but this Ultimate Edition straight up doesn't work. Don't waste space on your computer, and don't play it, I wasted 25 hours before realizing it was going to be impossible to play, and I play Paradox Games so I'm used to unstable broken ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but this is next level of bad software. Quality control is truly dead, at least it was free.
The game itself is amazing however on pc it is incredibly broken. Crashes every five minutes and is generally unplayable. Please buy the console version.
