The Ancient Gods – Part One is the first campaign expansion for the critically acclaimed DOOM Eternal.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

honestly just feels exhausting to play. enemies flood the battlefield and the new enemies added in just drag down the experience you're better off watching the DLC on youtube

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

i like it but the blue buffs are insane 10x demons hp
Finally, I have completed this Part 1 of the DLC, and played it for the second time to get all of the collectibles and possibly most of the achievements Continuing from the main campaign, this has quite the significant increase on the difficulty EVEN on the "Hurt me Plenty" difficulty. I died more times even on my first playthrough than on the main campaign. As for the story, it is perfect for those still curious for the Slayer's lore. Like me, I truly bought this DLC mostly solely for continuing on how after the main campaign ends. I can't really say the same for the boss. The final boss at the end of the campaign is where I died the most. It is definitely a skill issue problem but dear god, not even The Final Sin was that hard. Navigation was indeed a bit harder, and more puzzly. This is where my dislike of the DLC starts to see. If I have to actually watch a YouTube video just to know where to go next, then yeah it is most definitely a level problem. Do I recommend that you get this Part one of the DLC? If you are like me who enjoys storyline and don't like to see stories hanging, then yeah, this is a DLC worth buying. I typically avoid buying DLCs because typically it just an extra on top a base game with no high impact, but this is actually a DLC worth spending on. Either way, I bought this alongside the DOOM Anthology, so I also got the second part of the DLC as well as the rest of the DOOM series.
The spirit enemies are TOTAL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cancer. Absolutely ruins the fun of the incredible combat system the game has. I cannot recommend the DLC based on those enemies alone. ♥♥♥♥ those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things.

great dlc the ppl leaving bad reviews r just bunz at this game
Worth it. It´s a great DLC but it does not hold back in terms of difficulty. You will only enjoy this if you played Doom Eternal multiple times on high difficulty. Do not buy this because you want to casually play all the Doom Eternal content for the sake of doing it.
possessed marauders are peak
Gameplay wise there is not anything new except for 3 new enemy types and 2 new bosses but basically offers more levels if you wanted more content beyond the main campaign.
