Game is very fun. Slow gentle start with good difficulty ramping. I like the fact that it is a cut and dry roguelike experience. Cute indie project, would recommend picking it up for the price of 1 starbucks coffee!!
What is this, some kind of bubble tower defense roguelike arcade shooter? That's probably what it is. Pretty solid.
In a world full of pointy things and sharp intentions, I alone remain unpopped... 10/10

The game is wayyy too slow. I doubt many people will have the patience to reach even wave 10 multiple times. The whole thing feels like a tutorial.
Pretty solid game to past the time. Would be a fun steam deck game or a game u can play offline.
this game is PEAK
i simply do not let them pop my bubble
A nice little twin stick shooter that is actually kind of difficult.
cute little twin-stick roguelike where you protect a bubble from pointy enemies. simple upgrades, satisfying shooting, and the runs don’t overstay their welcome. all achievements done in one sitting. nothing groundbreaking but a solid chill arcade game for when you just want to shoot things for a bit.
Don't Pop My Bubble is a small casual game built around a simple idea: keeping a bubble safe while dealing with whatever dangers or challenges are placed around it. The premise is easy to understand almost immediately, which makes the game approachable and gives it a clear objective from the start. The biggest strength for me is the simple tension created by protecting something fragile. A bubble does not need much to go wrong before it pops, so even basic obstacles can become surprisingly important. I like the feeling of carefully reacting to threats and trying to keep everything under control for as long as possible. The controls are also easy to pick up. I can understand the basic mechanics without needing to spend a long time learning complicated systems. That works well for a casual game because I can jump straight into the challenge and focus on improving my reactions and understanding of the different obstacles. The game also benefits from its light-hearted presentation. The bubble concept gives it a playful identity, and the simple idea can make the experience feel more relaxing than a typical action game. When the visuals and sound effects respond well to what is happening, successfully protecting the bubble can feel surprisingly satisfying. The biggest weakness is the limited depth. Once I understand how the bubble and its hazards work, the experience can start to feel repetitive if there are not enough new obstacles or mechanics introduced. More types of bubbles, environments and increasingly creative threats would give the game a stronger sense of progression. The difficulty can also become frustrating if failure feels too sudden. Quick reactions are fine, but I prefer challenges where I can understand why I made a mistake and improve on the next attempt. Clear patterns and gradual difficulty increases would make repeated attempts feel more rewarding. Replay value mainly comes from trying to survive longer or improve my previous performance. That can be enough for players who enjoy arcade-style challenges, but there is not necessarily much motivation to return once I have mastered the available levels. Additional modes or unlockable content could help extend the experience. Overall, Don't Pop My Bubble is a simple and charming casual game that makes good use of its fragile-bubble concept. I like the accessible controls, playful atmosphere and straightforward challenge, while the limited variety and progression prevent it from having much long-term depth. It works best as a quick game for short sessions when I want something light and easy to understand. Rating: 7.4/10
