Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 19.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dokimon takes inspiration from the GameBoy Color era of games, without the chunkiness of some of those old systems. (Like, the game's systems... not the consoles — we love those.)

Explore an adventure spanning 15+ towns
Explore several routes, caves, shrines, seas, and mountains
Complete a 15–20 hour story mode, with endless post-game content for completionists
Track down rare monsters to unlock the game's post-story

Dokimon Quest was made in MonTamer Maker (MonMae, also known as Luna), a platform/engine built specifically for making monster tamer games. The engine keeps growing thanks to its devs and community — so making new Dokimon Quest (and similar) titles is within arm's reach, even for you.
"Watch out!" "You almost just got singed by a Burnsby!! Didn't you know? They may be cute and cuddly, but they hide amongst plush animals, and strike out at unsuspecting prey. Their cute demeanor can quickly send you on a trip to the hospital!"

Professor Rei: "Oh, hey! I didn't see you there. I was practicing my lines for... err, nevermind."
"My name is Rei! I've made a bit of a name for myself as a Dokimon specialist. Ever since the Great Divide, I've made it my mission to thoroughly document Dokimon on Earth. Dokimon are extremely dangerous creatures, so studying them profusely helps ensure everyone's safety. You probably already knew that, though..."
"But anyway, what are you still doing here? Go play the game already!"

Reviews
Recommended — especially for players who enjoy monster‑collecting systems with flexibility and experimentation.
Dokimon Quest shines through its monster designs: each creature feels distinct, expressive and memorable. The ability to freely customize move sets from the menu is a welcome quality‑of‑life feature and the world encourages relaxed exploration without pressure. 👍 Pros 1. NPC battles are fully farmable. Trainer battles can be repeated indefinitely, allowing you to build up a multiplier that boosts your team’s overall levels. Since these battles are renewable, you’re never trapped in a limited‑currency system. Random encounters also quietly award currency—even though the game never tells you this. 2. A wide variety of monsters. There’s plenty of choice, making it easy to find and train your favourites. 3. Generous capture mechanics. Catch rates are player‑friendly and guaranteed‑capture items become available later in the game. 4. Flexible stat management. EVs can be reassigned at any time with no penalty. You’re free to experiment without worrying about long‑term mistakes. 5. Voluntary devolutions. You can devolve monsters whenever you like to access different move pools or appearances. 6. Trainer rematches. Any previously defeated trainer can be challenged again and they scale upward. This makes experience farming simple and consistent. 7. Instant hometown warp. A key item lets you return home immediately, saving travel time. 8. Reasonable difficulty curve. Dokimon Quest ramps up at a fair pace without sudden spikes. 9. Efficient late‑game grinding. Once you find a specific double‑battle NPC, leveling becomes extremely fast. 10. Plenty of player‑controlled systems. Dokimon Quest offers many toggles, mechanics and customization options to tinker with. 👎 Cons 1. Stat and move‑type mismatches. Many monsters suffer from odd scaling biases toward speed and physical attack. Some creatures with poor physical stats still learn mostly physical moves, creating contradictions between their design and their function. 2. Minimalistic battle animations. Some attacks look extremely bare‑bones, reducing the excitement of combat. 3. Poorly explained systems. Dokimon Quest barely communicates its mechanics. For example, you receive EXP‑share early, but the game never tells you that monsters only evolve if they level up after landing the final blow. It’s easy to miss this for days—as you did. 4. Quality‑of‑life settings don’t persist. The “always run” option resets every time you restart the game and must be manually re‑enabled. 5. Visual discomfort on larger screens. The Game Boy‑style graphics look rough on a modern monitor and can become eye‑straining after extended play. Overall visual performance is below average. 6. Unhelpful NPC dialogue. Many NPCs speak in filler lines that offer no meaningful information, even when you’re trying to find something specific. Overall: Dokimon Quest is a charming monster‑collecting adventure with flexible systems and generous mechanics but held back by unclear explanations, mismatched stats and dated presentation. If you enjoy experimenting with builds and catching creatures, it’s easy to recommend—just be prepared for some rough edges.

Spent 10 minutes searching literally everywhere in the starter town for the person that's missing. I couldn't find them anywhere and there were no hints leading me to believe there's a bug blocking my progression.
Competent enough moncolle. The fake retro look is kind of hard on the eyes though. Get on sale.
Man kann hier absolut nichts starten oder machen. Keine Erklärung, kein Menü, keine Hinweise, nichts. Das Spiel wirft einen einfach rein und lässt einen komplett ratlos zurück. So macht das keinen Spaß.
cool

It's fine for what it is: a short-and-sweet monster catcher in the style of GBC Pokemon. The story is alright, albeit feels rushed towards the later half of the game, and the writing can be a tad immersion-breaking at times. The combat is perfectly serviceable aside from a couple irritating targeting bugs in the 2v2 format (especially irritating in the postgame area). The OST is not super varied but the piano tracks are pleasant to listen to. And probably most importantly for this genre of game, the majority of the creature designs are cool enough to keep me collecting and evolving them. Game's made by a solo dev and yeah sometimes it shows, but it's got heart. It's a neat little 10 hour adventure, maybe the price point can be daunting, so I'd recommend getting it during a sale if you're interested?

Got no better choice.
Valendo bastante!👍🏻
