Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 19.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dokimon Quest was made in MonTamer Maker (MonMae, also known as Luna), a platform/engine built specifically for making monster tamer games. The engine keeps growing thanks to its devs and community — so making new Dokimon Quest (and similar) titles is within arm's reach, even for you.
"Watch out!" "You almost just got singed by a Burnsby!! Didn't you know? They may be cute and cuddly, but they hide amongst plush animals, and strike out at unsuspecting prey. Their cute demeanor can quickly send you on a trip to the hospital!"

Professor Rei: "Oh, hey! I didn't see you there. I was practicing my lines for... err, nevermind."
"My name is Rei! I've made a bit of a name for myself as a Dokimon specialist. Ever since the Great Divide, I've made it my mission to thoroughly document Dokimon on Earth. Dokimon are extremely dangerous creatures, so studying them profusely helps ensure everyone's safety. You probably already knew that, though..."
"But anyway, what are you still doing here? Go play the game already!"

p.s. There is a Dokimon Wiki with information about all monsters, tips, guides, and more. If you're interested, check the Dokimon Quest Steam Community Hub, or search "Dokimon Wiki" in your favorite search engine.

Good game, has a lot of bugs, but the developer is quick to do something
as a pokemon fan i loved the game. 100% it. the retro pixel art is beautiful in my personal opinion, i liked every "monster" design presented, the story the game presents is kinda mid, it tries to be dramatic i think but fails at doing it, apart that the story is mostly funny and a pleasure to be experienced. the retro background music at certain point just annoyed me for the fact that is the same all the game, except for the battle theme, its only that, from my pov it could have more ost's. the battle system is ok, theres no variety of skills sadly, thats a very strong bad point in my opinion. well, for a game at its price i think its a great game in their own, it lacks a few things but its still good, might be for a chance.

Great game and decided to leave a review as I have more playtime on switch. Don't listen to the rabid Nintendo Shills that can't handle anything other than Pokeslop being force fed down their throat. Edit: Keep up the good work dev and thanks for staying active
Dokimon is a creature collector heavily inspired by the GBC Pokémon games. If those games are your speed, Dokimon is a good time, with solid visuals and familiar gameplay. The story is darker than most Pokémon games, but not to the point of featuring anything particularly disturbing or grimdark. The monster designs are hit and miss. There are some memorable standouts (the end-game Fairy types are pretty good, and Magma and Eclipse are also highlights) but much of the roster lacks the distinctiveness and charm that even the earliest Pokémon games managed to achieve. I picked up the game when it was free, but $15 does feel a bit steep for what's offered here.
it could be better actually but has alot of potential
If you’re nostalgic for the old school game boy color or game boy pocket Pokémon games, Dokimon is for you. If you’re nostalgic for the game boy advance Pokémon gold and silver then probably Coromon is probably more your speed. If you want a more modern newer take on the Pokémon RPG genre then TemTem or Palworld is probably your best bet. This game was a very pleasant surprise at how enjoyable it was. Again very biased opinion for nostalgias sake here but still pretty great for a free game 👍
i get confused easily because the dialogues are pretty vague, and you unlock the ability to teleport late into the game and you dont have any other modes of transprt other than walking. i appreciate how this game emulates the old school pokemon games, but it does not add any quality of life that i am accustomed to.
its an aight game
