Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 19.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dokimon takes inspiration from the GameBoy Color era of games, without the chunkiness of some of those old systems. (Like, the game's systems... not the consoles — we love those.)

Explore several routes, caves, shrines, seas, and mountains
Complete a 15–20 hour story mode, with endless post-game content for completionists

Dokimon Quest was made in MonTamer Maker (MonMae, also known as Luna), a platform/engine built specifically for making monster tamer games. The engine keeps growing thanks to its devs and community — so making new Dokimon Quest (and similar) titles is within arm's reach, even for you.
"Watch out!" "You almost just got singed by a Burnsby!! Didn't you know? They may be cute and cuddly, but they hide amongst plush animals, and strike out at unsuspecting prey. Their cute demeanor can quickly send you on a trip to the hospital!"

Professor Rei: "Oh, hey! I didn't see you there. I was practicing my lines for... err, nevermind."
"My name is Rei! I've made a bit of a name for myself as a Dokimon specialist. Ever since the Great Divide, I've made it my mission to thoroughly document Dokimon on Earth. Dokimon are extremely dangerous creatures, so studying them profusely helps ensure everyone's safety. You probably already knew that, though..."
"But anyway, what are you still doing here? Go play the game already!"

It is good, I had fun, but maybe it is because I really, really love old Pokémon games. There are dozens of things I would change in this game. Too many to say in a Steam review, but what I'll say is this: If instead of just trying to make a Pokemon game without getting sued, this dev should try to make something more focused on its own identity. They clearly have the creativity to do so. The game is beautiful, some of the songs are delightful to hear, they did a great job with the map, the Dokimons look really cool and the story, well, a little rough around the edges but good overall. It could use some work, but it is original and that is what matters. Every time the game tries to be original, it succeeds. Every time it tries to make a Pokemon reference, it comes off as cringe or lame. It ruins the immersion the game builds. Same as the lame constant fourth-wall breaking. Palworld has proven that you can make a game about catching "mons" and battling with them without it being Pokemon. You can make a look-alike game with a different IP. You don't need to call your grass starter "Bulbapod", have a Pokémon OST reference for the final boss of the alt-region or do some ♥♥♥♥ like that. And I don't care about people copying Pokemon, I say that you should focus on making your own thing because I genuinely believe you can make something better.

Really cute and cool pokemon-like game! Doesnt have that many soundtracks but the few it has are all really good, the story is really well told and its really fun to read some interesting interactions. 10/10
unfortunately there is a game breaking bug that makes it so if you enter the area that you unlock after beating all rangers and back out immediately you no longer can go in the area no matter what you do which is why i will now be quitting this game but other than that unfortunate and quite absurd game breaker the game was fun
Por lo que voy jugando esta muy bueno, capaz los bichos a veces no se les entiende mucho la forma pero para nada pierde lo atractivo.
copy of pokemon but still a great game❤️
O jogo é bem bacana, vale a pena jogar e comprar. Gravei uma gameplay do início do jogo no meu canal https://youtu.be/cuZWgw5E59Q
Gostei 😃👏
Game is quite mediocre. Compared to Pokemon that it is very clearly copying it is worse. Especially when compared to Pokemon fangames. Game does some things better like quality of life features for example game allows you to swap your mons wherever you are in town, you don't need to use PC, you can swap your mons moves without visiting some special NPC, instead of HMs you use items so you don't need to waste move slots. But at same time game has many issues which imo put it behind other pokemon fangames, some of which are free. First of all combat is really bad, it is very sweep heavy and strategic approach hardly exists because of that, status moves are not too useful because what's the point of poisoning enemy if you either one shot him or get one shot. Ik that to some players turn based combat might seem always boring, but there are examples of it done well, this game simply is not one of those. Game also seems to be unfinished, a lot of locations in lategame were fairly empty, there was a city where you could enter literally only 3 buildings, 1 being healing center, 1 being shop 1 being plot building, and it was a major city not a small town. If you managed to grab a game for free it's something you can play to kill some time, but definitely wouldn't recommend buying it considering there are much better pokemon fan games.
just better than most games nowadays xd
