About
An outside threat reaches your homeland, a quiet northern island. You play as Fjør, a young warrior among those born under the Fate of the Guardian, blessed with exceptional combat prowess. But that alone is not enough to defeat the invaders and protect what's sacred to your people.
Walking the path of a Warden, explore the island above and below the surface: forgotten caves and ominous forests, gloomy catacombs and sacred ruins, where you shall fight hordes of monsters, discover well-hidden secrets and harness ancestral legacy.
Inspired by the best of the hack-and-slash genre, Divinum has a wide range of options to master and experiment with. Launch enemies into the air, where they are unable to act or escape while Fjør gains access to unique moves. Unleash unstoppable combos with two distinct primary weapons and special skills. Leave your foes no chance with quick dodges, blocks, and parries.
Explore the world, look for secrets and fight bosses to find Runes that meaningfully change how you fight. A +5% damage item? You won't find anything this boring in Divinum. Runes can provide anything from solid unique bonuses to modifiers that can completely change how you approach battles — but great power often comes with trade-offs.
Across the island, dangerous trials and ancient evil await you. Conquer them all and claim generous rewards!

Reviews
Here's the positive - the game has one of the best combat systems in a 2D platformer I've ever seen. Seriously it feels SO good and fluid. Lots of skills, combos and options which flow together incredibly. The game also had a very nice look to it generally. Controls are responsive, hit feedback is good. But then there's the rest of the game. It feels like while the combat is great the rest is kinda mediocre. The characters are flat, no portraits, no voice acting, story very bland. Environments have so far just been various color of cave. There's no much actual metroidvania aspects here either, it's been quite linear so far. Despite this it has been very fun to play, just feel like the novelty of the combat will wear out at some point. Had fun playing so far though and will update my review when I finish. This is the kind of game where I could say I'm anxious to see what the devs can cook up with their next project because the groundwork is there. They just need more experience and/or help to make a fully fledged game around it.
1 evening game. It was fun tho a little short

um bom jogo pra passar o tempo.
Played the demo months ago and was happy when I found out when this game finally dropped. It's been a few years since I played any Metroidvanias so this was fun for me. Had a day off and decided to take a break from what I was playing and used this as a palette cleanser. 100% the game about an hour ago and beat the final boss on the third try. 3 Pros - 1) Combat is extremely fun. As someone who played a lot of Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, Dungeon Fighter Online, Sakuna Rice and Ruin, Lost Soul Aside, Where Winds Meet, Muramasa Demon Blade, etc, I always like flashy combat games and seeing it in pixel art was something I never knew I needed until I played it. 2) Challenging but fair. Learn the enemy patterns and it becomes fun. You have the option to parry, dodge, or brute force if your aggressive enough and time attacks correctly. 3) Build crafting is fun. Once you unlock all runes, skills, weapons, etc, it opens up so much. 3 Cons- 1- Game is extremely short. I beat it in one sitting by accident lol. By the time you unlock all the runes, abilities, etc, you are minutes away from the final boss. On top of that, that brings me to my second con... 2- Ending felt incomplete. When I beat the boss, the game ends abruptly. You expect another boss due to another enemy showing up, but then it's just button pressing prompts and then credits. 3- I feel this game needs an endgame. Outside of the "endless arena" that caps out at 24 waves, their is no endgame. A new game plus and roguelite / roguelike mode would really help. I wanted to test so many builds but have one area. TIPS Just learn the attack patterns and parry. Also some builds help better then others. I put any runs, and skills together that made me as tanky as possible just incase I mess up but it was overkill for me. This isn't the hardest flashy combat / action / metroidvania game I played but it's not bad at all. Fingers crossed they add more content.
Very good
A Solid but short (5 hours for my completion, time is messed up from swapping between steamdeck and desktop) action platformer (it's not really a metroidvania, it's very linear). The art style is great and the combat is flashy and fun. My favorite part is the jump dash, it's really well implemented and makes traversal really enjoyable....too bad it's so close to the end. Good but I'd wait for a sale around $10
Don't buy it, it's a fake action game, a Soulslike sick game.
除了流程短,限时跳跳乐要差评,其他没毛病 手感和探图都做的很好,奖励给的也足
Good game overall a bit short but not in a bad sense leave you wanting more if anything
