About
An outside threat reaches your homeland, a quiet northern island. You play as Fjør, a young warrior among those born under the Fate of the Guardian, blessed with exceptional combat prowess. But that alone is not enough to defeat the invaders and protect what's sacred to your people.
Walking the path of a Warden, explore the island above and below the surface: forgotten caves and ominous forests, gloomy catacombs and sacred ruins, where you shall fight hordes of monsters, discover well-hidden secrets and harness ancestral legacy.
Inspired by the best of the hack-and-slash genre, Divinum has a wide range of options to master and experiment with. Launch enemies into the air, where they are unable to act or escape while Fjør gains access to unique moves. Unleash unstoppable combos with two distinct primary weapons and special skills. Leave your foes no chance with quick dodges, blocks, and parries.
Explore the world, look for secrets and fight bosses to find Runes that meaningfully change how you fight. A +5% damage item? You won't find anything this boring in Divinum. Runes can provide anything from solid unique bonuses to modifiers that can completely change how you approach battles — but great power often comes with trade-offs.
Across the island, dangerous trials and ancient evil await you. Conquer them all and claim generous rewards!

Honestly one of the most fun combats I've ever experienced. The final fight was an amazing dance of parries, dodges, skills, and regular attacks. Bravo, Sigil. Bravo.
Combat is simply immensely fun. It gets a bit messy near the end, but that's a minority of the game and isn't a big deal. Platforming isn't bad, but there are moments it feels like joystick deadzones are off, and that can be frustrating. You want to dash at a diagonal, but you go horizontal...you want to go vertical, and you go diagonal. There aren't many games with this type of dash, so my comparisons are limited...all I can say, is that it felt off enough times that I'm somewhat convinced it could be improved. Further, jumping off a wall-slide can sticky, and I think it's for similar reasons. I attempt to jump off of it, and my character chooses to stay on, and then she detaches after I've attempted my jump input since all I did was shuffle upwards instead. Anyways, unsure if adding stick deadzones is realistic, but that was pretty much the only thing that I disliked about the game. I was also stuck at one point and the way forward entailed a boss being hidden...in a room in the ceiling, with 1 pixel showing the opening. This is a me issue, but the map zoom level makes those 1-"pixel" areas difficult to see. I even knew it's why I was stuck, but took too long to find. Anyways, I'm complaining a lot, but that's because everything else was thoroughly enjoyable and only these bothered me. People say the game is short, and it is, but anyone telling you
4
hours may have ran through the game and skipped things. Not dialogue, actual challenges. It took me
6
but I'm a bit slower, and had to restart the game a couple times. Speaking of challenges, there is a function that increases the replayability by a good amount. I only got to wave
23
on my first attempt, but my hand got sore and had to stop lol. Anyways, a messy review, but I'm happy with my playthrough. Oh, and a dev showed up while I was streaming, did some trouble-shooting and fixed frame-stutters after couple hours of observing. With how later platforming is, that was huge.

Super fun game that took me by surprise. I just wish it was a little longer but is definitely worth the price.
really enjoyed this! Tight controls and solid art, platforming was challenging but never annoying and plenty of goodies to find if you're keeping a sharp eye out. Combat was very fun and versatile with the runes system plus a small complement of skills. You get the second weapon option a little late in the game but that's a nitpick. This is worth checking out if you like these kinds of games!
What an absolute gem. The controls are incredibly tight and responsive, and everything just feels really good to play. There’s a satisfying flow to the movement and combat that immediately reminded me of Foregone, with that same snappy, fluid feel where you can really get into a rhythm. My only fear is that it’s too short, but either way, I have no regrets. It’s the kind of game that feels polished from the moment you pick it up. If you’re a fan of fast-paced 2D action games in general, I’d definitely recommend giving Divinum a shot (and also picking up Foregone).
Отличные бои, и очень динамичные сражения Нравится что есть возможность лечиться за счёт маны, выбиваемой из противников Получается Hollow Knight, но с намного большим количеством лечения, что делает игру сильно веселее
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing experience! Divinum is one of those games that genuinely surprised me. The atmosphere, gameplay, and overall presentation come together incredibly well, making it very easy to get completely immersed in the experience. You can really feel the passion and attention to detail that went into creating this game. There’s a great sense of atmosphere throughout, and the experience kept me interested from start to finish. It’s clear that the developers put a lot of thought into making Divinum feel unique and memorable. If you’re looking for something fresh and enjoyable on Steam, I’d definitely recommend giving Divinum a try. It deserves more attention, and I’m excited to see where the developers take it next. Highly recommended — an absolute gem! 🔥 5 - 7 hours of fun.
I enjoyed it for what it was. The mechanics are as good as any Metroidvania I've played and the difficulty was fine if a touch on the easy side (especially the platforming sequences that were a lot less brutal than some I've played) but it was much too short for my liking.
