Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Its a good rpg, not that dramatic. there havent been many of those, so people are overexcited. If you are not into intellectual circle jerks you wont be impressed.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.29/day in the week to Aug 6 → 40.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The writing and voice acting is fantastic, there are interesting ideas and characters, and the visual style is interesting and engaging. But for me, I've just ended up too many times wondering "what the heck am I supposed to do next??" And then there's nothing to do but just walk around, trying to click on everything, skipping through conversations with NPCs that I've already mostly exhausted, and generally just doing a tedious depth-first search of the entire explorable area. Again. If you want a great narrative experience and have a high tolerance for aimlessly wandering through the same areas over and over, you'll probably love this game. If not, or if you want a little more "game" in your game than just exploring dialogue trees, maybe look elsewhere.
Disco Elysium is the greatest game ever made about piecing a shattered life back together after you've lost the instruction manual. It's not just a detective story - it's a profound journey into human grief. The protagonist drinks so much that he erases his own memory, trying to escape unbearable emotional pain. And the game's most brilliant idea is that the amnesia doesn't save him. You wake up with a monstrous hangover, unable to remember even your own name, yet you can still physically feel the black hole inside you. The past is gone, but the broken heart still aches, and that phantom pain follows you every step of the way.
Story is good so far, really enjoying this.
best game i've ever read
I am a superstar
Симулятор того, когда тебе за 30 и ты решил покутить ,как в 20 лет. Куно конечно по**й, но последствия здесь хорошо показаны :D Главное , не пинайте ящик иначе ваши друзья знатно приорут с утренней статьи))
Disco Elysium is one of the few RPGs that fully embraces what role-playing can be. It isn't about becoming the strongest character or making the objectively correct decisions. It's about inhabiting a person, living with their flaws, and discovering who they become through the choices you make. What makes it exceptional is its writing. Every conversation feels purposeful, every character has something meaningful to contribute, and even the smallest interactions reveal another layer of the world. Revachol isn't just a setting. It feels like a city shaped by history, politics, failure, and the people struggling to move forward within it. I also admire how much the game trusts the player. It never treats failure as something to avoid. Some of the most memorable moments come from making the wrong decision, saying the wrong thing, or watching a plan fall apart in ways that feel completely believable. The game understands that role-playing is often at its most interesting when things don't go according to plan. Despite how dialogue-driven it is, Disco Elysium never feels static. Every conversation has weight because your thoughts, beliefs, and skills actively shape how you experience the world. The result is an RPG where your character isn't defined by combat abilities, but by the person you choose to become. Disco Elysium has one of the clearest artistic visions I've seen in any game. It refuses to compromise its identity, trusts the player to engage with its ideas, and proves that compelling storytelling doesn't need constant action to leave a lasting impression. It's one of the most thoughtful games I've ever played, and an easy recommendation.
