Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 24 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Din’s Champion is a sidescrolling 2D action RPG in a highly dynamic fantasy setting. The world waits for no one; as you are exploring and collecting, crafting and building, planning, the forces of darkness are amassing power and executing their own designs. Left unchecked, they will unleash devastating consequences! Will you find strength in numbers, building a massive town with an army of dozens or even hundreds of NPCs, gathering enough resources and resilience to survive whatever crisis is thrown your way? Or will you strike out alone against the evil, relying on your own skills and strength to prevail?
Truly vast character customization system, with dozens of classes, each with their own skill-trees, strengths and weaknesses. Craft and equip the best gear with different stats and perks for your perfect warrior!
Multiplayer mode lets your friends join in the fun; survive, thrive, and push back the forces of the evil gods together!
Mighty and varied enemy forces, always scheming and striking and escalating. Monsters can plan ambushes and even instigate uprisings! If you do not work to stem the tide, you will be overwhelmed.
Every choice has consequences. Who will you stop to save? Will you focus on curing the deadly plague or will you gather resources instead? Every moment has a hundred different possibilities!
Stone and clay; trees; walls and mountains and the ground beneath your feet; if you can see it, you can take it! Gather resources wherever you go, both in the foreground and the background, allowing you to craft all sorts of powerful items, potions, buildings, and more! But be judicious: all the time you spend gathering stones is time the enemy spends gathering strength!
A massive variety of enemies– hundreds of different monster-types to be found in different biomes, with different abilities and behaviors, coordinated by powerful bosses with a will of their own! Monsters do more than just wait around for you to come kill them, and they don’t simply seek you out, either. The forces of darkness will concoct different strategies as you play, trying to lure you into deadly ambushes, pilfer your resources, spread plagues and curses throughout your town, or keep you busy long enough to build up power and unleash a devastating cataclysm!
Sums Steam only; GOG publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

A charmingly janky mix of Terraria and early Diablo
If you like Terraria, this is a no brainer. Try it, remember it's in Alpha, and and enjoy. If you like Factorio, don't touch this game. It will be like day 1 Factorio all over....you'll lose complete sense of time, take PTO the next day, and just engulf yourself. If you like any other game which requires building, character skill and inventory development, strategy, combat "tense" action, discovery....or stimulate dopamine by any other method, I'd suggest giving this a try. Bottom line, nothing crazy original, but new enough to absorb 100+ hours of your time. If, at the time of reading this review you note that I have less than 100+ hours, recognize that is a personal choice to prevent myself from becoming so absorbed in a game the life get's put on the back burner. I could easily spend 200+ hours in this game. P.S. I find it ironic that the spell check in Steam flags Terraria, and brainer.

The game has very good potential, it has many complex mechanics and is clearly inspired. But the exploration of the world is killing it point blank. Basically, you are constantly FALLING DOWN INTO WATER. This could be a better name for the game, seriously. The Terraria-like map is suffering from very vertical RNG design, meaning every few meters there is a cliff and you very rapidly falling from cliff to cliff. In the bottom of the biomes there is inevitably pools of water (it drains down like in Terraria). And in water you become EXTREMELY slow, drown quickly and you cant see ♥♥♥♥. The game has no ropes, ladders, grapple hooks, etc. to enable vertical control of character positioning (you can jump quite high, but not remotely enough). If this gets fixed by adding ropes, ladders, and better rng terrain generation (please make it series of horizontal layers with short vertical connections, and remove like 90% of water), I might give a game another chance.
Soldak Entertainment is one of the few publishers out there that is an insta-buy for me. Din's Champion is another case of a fun, engaging game and world. The co-op is a lot of fun, and the deviation from their normal top-down style to 2.5D is a refreshing take, and I think made it even more enjoyable. I've spent nearly 100 hours in-game, 90% of which was co-op. If you enjoy Terraria and games of that style, but with RPG skill trees, and a constantly evolving game world, where nemeses are abundant, and regular mobs can evolve into bosses - I definitely recommend grabbing this gem and giving it a try.
This game is beyond clunky. How is this even on the popular releases when Steamcharts says 2 people are playing it?
It's a good base concept but right now every build boils down to only one skill thats useful and for every class it seems to be fire/explosion of some sort. Once it's baked and classes have variance that work it'll be fun otherwise it's pretty short content
Insane mash-up of Terrarium (side-scrolling, digging exploration, etc.), Diablo 2 (classes, skills, massive amounts of randomized loot), 7 Days to Die (terraforming, base defense, frantic horde battles), and Rimworld (town/population construction/management) where monsters also fight each other, there are dynamic world events, fluid and gas dynamics, factions, and a ridiculous number of possible class combinations, among the many other mechanics I probably haven't even discovered yet. Brilliant game.
While I don't like the change from the previous ARPGs (I love them too much), I enjoyed this game and have a deep respect for the developer's work. Keep roking mate!
True to form for all Soldak games, but with about 20 extra layers of ambition. I hope this gets to the promised land someday. It's great, but there are levels of jank that detract a bit, but it's to be expected and doesn't detract a ton from the game. But I'm going to fight someone if I can right click sell soon.
The moment I spawn there is an earthquake that damages my starter home, including the crystal I have to protect. These earthquakes DO NOT STOP. The terrain around me in CONSTANTLY taking damage, and I don't know why or how, so it is worthless to build as everything will just be destroyed. So I WILL lose the map because things just GET DESTROYED because they exist. The literal first monster I found takes ZERO damage from the sword I started with AND lights me on fire - so it killed me REAL ♥♥♥♥♥♥' easy because I literally couldn't fight back as I couldn't damage it. Don't know why or how this game has good reviews. Normally I like Soldak jank, but this game can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥. It is without worth. A literal 0/10. I don't know how it released, I don't know how it made it through early access...this game sucks. Refunded and set to ignore. Seriously this game is without value.
