Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Your journey begins with a plane crash.
After watching your plane burst into flames and fall from the sky, you wake up on a tropical island filled with lush vegetation and hidden dangers. You are not entirely alone. A disabled old man, one of the island’s previous survivors, still lives here. Through his guidance and tasks, you learn the basics of survival while slowly uncovering the island’s mysterious past.
Dig Island is a digging, survival and exploration game where curiosity, resource management, and smart decision making determine whether you escape the island or become part of its history.

Digging is the key to progress on the island. You start by uncovering basic materials near the surface, but as you dig deeper, rarer and more valuable elements begin to appear. Every shovel strike consumes Energy; every misstep you made costs your Health; and every negligence of food creates Hunger, making digging a complex function. Going deeper means better rewards, but poor planning can quickly leave you stranded underground.
Crafting is at the heart of survival in Dig Island. The island offers a wide variety of materials to collect, fish to catch, and resources to process. Everything you gather feeds into a deep crafting system built around multiple stations. Ores can be smelted into ingots, components refined, and materials combined into a constantly expanding range of tools, upgrades, equipment, and advanced devices.
To escape the island, you must also craft, repair, and assemble the broken parts of your crashed plane, bringing it back together piece by piece for a final chance at freedom.
All crafting stations rely on base power, making energy management a core challenge. Generator depends on fuel sources. As you progress, you discover to craft more advanced fuel types to feed your generator. Solar panels on the roof provide continuous energy, but years of neglect mean they must first be repaired before they can be relied upon.
Dig Island can be experienced solo or with up-to-4 players.Up to four players can explore the island together, sharing tasks, managing the base, digging deeper underground, and surviving the island’s unpredictable challenges as a team.

A story-driven progression slowly unfolds as you dig deeper and uncover traces of the island’s past.
Inventory and resource management play a crucial role in deciding what to carry, craft, or leave behind.
Each process in stations requires power to complete the process. It is important to feed your generators with fuels. To help you get a constant power flow, solar panels provide energy and enable partial automation of your base’s power system once repaired.
An elevator built from a pulley system and rope allows faster and safer movement in deep digging areas.
Dynamic weather brings sudden storms, heavy rain, and, on clear nights, stunning aurora borealis across the sky. Wonder why there is an aurora borealis in a tropical island?
Beyond underground caves, hidden locations across the island wait to be discovered by curious explorers.
Fishing provides an important food source and supports survival through proper meal preparation.
Jetpacks let you reach places that cannot be accessed by walking or swimming alone.

The game's a better version of usual digging games. You get great crafting loop mechanics inside of it and a little bit of survival. Feels pretty good to play
heb al meerdere spellen gedaan met graven , maar deze slaat alles , super veel graaf plezier , zeker n aanrader !
There is potential in the idea but the execution is very poor. The inventory mechanics are dreadful. The sound is so bad that I had to switch the UI sounds off.

Developed and published by FiftyEight Studios, Dig Island is a survival crafting adventure that takes a familiar castaway premise and builds an enjoyable progression system around exploration, mining, and resource management. After surviving a devastating plane crash, the protagonist awakens on a mysterious tropical island with little more than basic tools and the determination to escape. An elderly resident who has spent years surviving on the island serves as both a guide and an important narrative figure, gradually introducing players to the island's secrets while providing clear objectives that keep the adventure moving forward. Rather than focusing solely on survival, the game establishes a meaningful long-term goal of repairing the wrecked aircraft, giving every task a sense of purpose. The heart of Dig Island lies beneath the surface. Digging is far more than a simple way to gather materials, as nearly every aspect of progression revolves around excavating deeper layers of the island in search of valuable ores, hidden caves, and rare resources. Each trip underground requires careful planning because hunger, health, and stamina constantly influence how long players can safely remain below ground. Running out of supplies while exploring deep tunnels can quickly turn a productive expedition into a desperate race back to the surface. This balance between risk and reward makes exploration consistently engaging, encouraging players to prepare properly before venturing into increasingly dangerous depths. Crafting and base development complement the exploration exceptionally well. The resources gathered through mining can be refined into increasingly advanced materials used to construct tools, machines, and infrastructure. Production gradually evolves from simple crafting benches into a more sophisticated workshop powered by electricity. Generators must be fueled to keep equipment running, while later upgrades introduce cleaner and more efficient energy sources, including restored solar panels. This gradual technological advancement creates a satisfying feeling of growth, transforming a basic survival camp into a productive operation capable of supporting ambitious projects. Every new machine and crafted upgrade feels meaningful because it directly contributes to expanding exploration capabilities or accelerating progress toward rebuilding the aircraft. The island itself offers more than underground excavation. Dense forests, hidden caves, fishing spots, and mysterious landmarks reward players who enjoy wandering away from the main objectives. Dynamic weather helps make the environment feel alive, with storms changing the atmosphere and unusual natural phenomena hinting that the island holds secrets beyond what first appears. New traversal options unlocked later in the game, including jetpacks and improved transportation systems within mining areas, help keep exploration fresh by opening locations that were previously inaccessible. These additions prevent the gameplay loop from becoming repetitive, constantly introducing new goals and places worth investigating. Cooperative multiplayer significantly enhances the overall experience by allowing up to four players to survive together. Friends can divide responsibilities naturally, with some focusing on mining while others gather food, maintain machinery, craft equipment, or expand the base. This shared workload makes progression smoother without removing the challenge of survival. Cooperative play also makes major construction projects and deep mining expeditions considerably more enjoyable, turning what could be lengthy resource-gathering sessions into collaborative adventures. Ongoing improvements made during Early Access demonstrate that the developers remain committed to refining multiplayer systems and expanding the overall experience based on community feedback. Visually, Dig Island favors a colorful and approachable art style that suits its relaxed tone. The tropical landscapes are inviting, underground environments offer a pleasant sense of discovery, and weather effects add welcome variety to exploration. While the presentation does not aim for photorealism, it successfully creates a world that feels lively and enjoyable to explore. Combined with calming environmental audio and satisfying progression systems, the presentation reinforces the game's casual yet rewarding atmosphere. Although the game is still evolving through Early Access, its core mechanics already form a compelling gameplay loop built around exploration, crafting, survival, and cooperation. Some areas naturally have room for additional content and refinement, but the existing foundation is strong enough to provide many hours of enjoyable progression. Players who appreciate methodical resource gathering, steady technological advancement, and cooperative sandbox adventures will likely find plenty to enjoy, while those looking for constant action may find its slower pace less appealing. Schön schön! Hat Spaß gemacht, Spiel hat auf jeden Fall Potential.
7943
