Diablo® IV

Laggy, not really playable. It's not my PC (i9-12900K, 32 GB RAM, RTX 4070) pretty sure it is the netcode.

Several hundred hours later and the loop still works. Combat and builds feel solid when the balance is right, the world looks fantastic, and the seasonal reset keeps me coming back. It’s still a live-service treadmill with the usual monetization and those “why did they change that” patches. If you enjoy ARPGs and can handle the seasonal cycle, it’s worth it. If you hate live service, skip it. I keep coming back =D

Simply avoid this game. I played 2 hours and my experience so far is crashes , disconnects and a bugged early dungeon that's one room. As for gameplay the early world feels very uninspired and the enemies boring like their whole purpose is to just fill the area and nothing more. What happened to you Blizzard? You used to make games that defined generations.

Im glad that i had chance to play this during free week. Its not my cup of tea.. too shallow (skill trees) and focused on monetization as opposed to some other titles - feels like some eastern mobile game -not Blizzard who we all admired. And dont let me start on the "always online" requirement - i live in the boonies and i honestly thought that there was some kind of "paywall" before i figured that its my internet acting up. Not a single message about connection - just running to invisble wall.

I like it, it's got it's flaws and the monitization is bad, but it's triple A ARPG and it has improved over the years. It is good fun to smash, rip and tear demons.
