Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 8 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's interesting, I remember the 2005 original on PS2 being a lot more violent and a lot longer. For the violence, either it actually wasn't that violent, or they've ramped up the cartoonishness in this remake. For the length, I definitely owe that to just being more efficient with games now. Oddly, there is no achievement for finding all the lost Furon Probes - one of the banes of my childhood. Thanks to the internet, that probably wouldn't be a problem nowadays anyway. Nostalgia goggles off, it's still a fun open world game. The graphics do exactly what they're aiming for - not hyper realistic, but colorful and intentionally cartoonish. Stealth plays well, combat plays well, and the story pacing is solid, walking the line between taking itself too seriously and leaning into the toilet humor.

It's a fun retro style game. The humor is wonderful and had me chuckling throughout the whole game. The story is fun as well as the gameplay and combat. I can see why the original was so loved when it first released. And this remake is really great.
I'm so excited to play more, used to play the original growing up! brings back so many memories!
Nostalgia
A phenomenal remaster of a classic. This is what every remaster should be like.
It's a good game, but not very action focused. Lots of stealth, talking, deception and not much destruction and killing. Tons of cutscenes. It takes ten minutes to actually control something. It's constant stop and go due to the mission based structure. And the humor does not derive from the gameplay but from the dialogue. It's too much. As if they were afraid it would get dark if they didn't undermine everthing with light-hearted nonsense. Oh and don't make me kill animals. People are okay. Reading other reviews I also realize that the sound design is weak, reducing the fun of what I was looking for in the first place.
Me sinto velho jogando, já não tenho me importado tanto com gráficos. Embora o jogo seja bem bonito. Ficaria mais feliz se os comandos fossem mais simples, mas no geral o jogo é muito bom, muito interessante. A história é interessante, as missões são bem legais. Jogo muito bom pra quem só quer pegar um tempinho pra se divertir.
I recommend the original. It feels like they changed too much. This remake is more like those recent final fantasy ones where they are similar in some aspects but it's not really the same game. The main characters and the story beats are similar but nothing else. The gameplay is also totally different. The original wanted you to have fun, this one wants you to have a challenge but forgot about upgrades when they were balanceing it. Also it seemed like they removed all aspects of humor from the game.
