Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.43/day in the week to Aug 29 → 21.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

good game
Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. Gonna buy tickets for The Sweaters' reunion tour ASAP!
Truly, a fantastic experience from start to finish.
Desktop Explorer is a whirlwind of catastrophic drama and alluring history, encouraging you to peel back the layers of mystery one file at a time. You think you will understand the game, only for things to take a turn and morph into a completely different, yet equally engaging type of game. I loved feeling like a hacker, detective, logician, investigator, and a critical part of an unfolding story. Most puzzles felt like the right difficulty, though a few were a bit too easy or (in contrast) caused me to spin my wheels, scouring for any clues for 30 - 60 minutes before making progress. The feeling of satisfaction of making a breakthrough when you've been previously struggling to comprehend what you're looking at, though...? Unparalleled. Several times, after hours of playing I would get up to stretch my legs, only to have to resist the urge to sit back down and open Desktop Explorer since I wanted the finite experience to last. From the UX design that transports you back 20 years to the atmospheric soundtrack that never feels out of place, the execution is right on par with the gameplay, and pulls you in even further.

很有意思的解謎小品,建議玩之前把alt+f4拔了
very nostalgic with a twist
Great puzzles
Good fun to play through. Most of the puzzles were really fun to work out. Only qualms were that the NextRooms bit went on for too long, and that a couple of the numerical puzzles were easier (and less burdensome) to just repeatedly guess at than to actually figure out the answer.
Great game, super cool and fun to play. Its nostalgic and a little spooky with computer based puzzle solving. Literally get this game if you like logic and miss 90's/00's technology. definitely recommend <3
As someone that loves retro tech and mysteries, this game was right up my alley. My only complaint was the 2nd mannequin puzzle was *really* hard but was it a really great story and a fun game to 100%. Please check it out if you got the money and also get the OST. It really goes well with the events in the game.
very cool experience, I would love to be able to forget it and play it all over again
