Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Aug 31 → 1.86/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun little idle game to have on in the background. I've been enjoying trying to get all the achievements.
This is a really fun idle auto battler to have running while you are working on other things. It just sits right in the corner of your screen, letting you enjoy the gameplay while you focus on different tasks. It is a great little desktop companion that provides some solid entertainment without demanding your full attention.

⭐ Desktop Defender TL;DR: An idle/incremental game with very little meaningful player choice. It provides a pleasant sense of progression early on, but the lack of variety and decision-making quickly makes the experience feel repetitive. 🎮 Gameplay [★★] Compared to other games in the genre, you quickly run out of viable options and meaningful choices. The progression feels fairly straightforward, with limited room to experiment with different strategies or builds. There is a forging system after rebirth (NG+), but you will most likely need to look up a guide to understand how and why certain items should be combined. The system itself isn't particularly intuitive, which takes away from the satisfaction of figuring things out on your own. 🎨 Presentation Visuals: [★★] Pleasant enough to look at early on, but there is very little sense of visual progression as you advance through the stages. Enemies and environments remain relatively similar, with bosses being the main exception. ⚙️ Performance & Quality of Life [★★★★] Overall, the game runs well without putting much strain on my system. However, I experienced some frequent crashes with certain weapons, particularly the Boomerang. The UI could also use a lot of improvement. Information isn't always presented in the clearest way, which makes some of the game's systems more difficult to understand than they need to be, some achievements are bugged and take way more to obtain. 👤 Who Is This For? You'll probably love this if you like: Dopamine-driven progression, watching numbers go up, and the feeling that you're at least playing something while doing work IRL. Skip it if you dislike: Autoplay mechanics, limited player choice, and repetitive gameplay. 🏁 Final Verdict I can see this game being appealing to a certain type of player, particularly someone looking for a low-effort incremental game to have running in the background. However, I don't think the vast majority of gamers would consider this much of a game in the traditional sense (Over other similar games in the genre). Once the initial feeling of progression wears off, there isn't enough variety or meaningful decision-making to keep me engaged, and I can easily see this ending up in a backlog never to be touched again. FINAL RATING: ★★☆☆☆
