Flip, trick and grind your train in a fast-paced, off-the-rails ride through a colourful Japanese dystopia. Outmatch rival gangs, wreck a shady megacorp, and take back the tracks with nothing but skill, speed, and style.

Pretty awesome honestly, wears its inspirations on its sleeve (Tony Hawk, Sonic 3D, and JSR), and is fun as hell to play. Doesn't wear out its welcome too long which is a good thing.
Great game, havent had this much fun with a new release since forever
Tony hawk pro skater + subway surfer being the main theme of the gameplay. There's enough new mechanic every region to keep the game difficult enough yet forgiving by having many respawn checkpoint that take you back 3~5seconds before the place you crashed.
A thrill ride from beginning to end proving that a wacky concept like a trick-based train game can be just as enticing as any extreme sports game with the right presentation and design implementation. The colorful Japanese pop-art aesthetic mixed with a funky soundtrack is always a treat to the eyes and ears. The controls are somewhat unconventional, understandable due to the outlandish premise of grinding rails with a 30-ton metal box, it doesn't take long to be become familiar with them and tempting you to get ever higher scores and medals in each level. The plot and characters aren't anything revolutionary, but do the job well enough to keep you engaged.
migth be goty
I don't easily write reviews, but this high octane fever dream of a game captured me from the get go, and never released its grip. This is definitely my indie game of the year, if not GOTY. The game starts simple, with a ramen delivery via mostly decrepit train tracks, after which we're told the base premise of denshattack. Did you know that one of the people left out of the dystopian residential domes in post-apocalyptic Japan was a crazy engineer who modded trains so they could do tricks like in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Jet Set Radio? Well, now you do, and they are as engaging as the ever escalating storyline. The playable levels are divided into basic point A to point B sprints, races, trick park score attacks, and boss stages. You learn new trick along the [strike]road[/strike] rails, and the fun never stops. Boss levels are the definite highlight of this game that sends physics crying in the corner from act 1. There are also many other spoofed and lampshaded games and tropes, with my absolute favourite being the boss fight of Chapter 7. It truly takes the game on another level, which is a high bar when the first boss is a freaking combining train mecha. I know this review is mostly hype, but I don't care. I will continue playing this game probably for years to come. TL;DR: This game is so awesome I can't talk about it without hyping it up to the heavens, and beyond.
