If you wanna compare it with Phasmophobia you’ll notice the different technique it uses unlike Phasmo does — It actually puts you under extreme pressure and sweating, not from the ghost himself but by the his action and jump scares around especially when you reach the the exoricsm part. Phasmo is great but doesn’t give the same level of vibes from my POV. The only thing i wouldn’t recommend to do is doing it singleplayer, if you wanna try it you shall find a lobby to get full experience.

I really wanted to like Demonologist, but it just doesn’t hold up. From my 2 hours of playtime, the only one thing it genuinely does well is the creepy atmosphere, the environments and sound design are nice, and there are moments where it feels like it’s building toward something great but that's about it. Unfortunately, that’s where the praise ends. I knew after the first ghost apparition that the game is not it. The jumpscares are honestly terribly predictable, poorly timed, and not scary at all. It doesn’t help that some of the ghost models (or one? I had a Shade) completely break immersion. At one point, I had a ghost just goofily flying around while laughing? I believe, can't even tell what that sound was this lasted 2 long minutes. Someone tells me what the thick flying white ball of smoke is aswell?? The optimization is also insanely bad. The game eats up GPU and CPU like crazy for no good reason, I had everything on low and medium with my GPU still at 80% that is just not acceptable. Overall, it feels like an unpolished experience that I assume is all based on the atmosphere, haven't played long and wouldn't play more either, just get Phasmophobia

Played this for the first time last night on my live stream. Pretty intense and full of scares! Definitely similar to others in this genre but with its own unique blend of spookiness. 100% recommend snagging this one! #magnificentbastages twitch.tv/mattrixxzgaming
