Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Цікава гра, повертає спогади про класику жанру. Проте, на жаль, українська локалізація відверто погана й потребує дуже ретельного редагування та значного переписування з нуля.
i had fun from the start to the end, the game has discouraged me sometimes but i ended up being so attached to it and it kept motivating me to see what’s next, i loved every minute of my playthrough. This game is about the vibe, the experience you get while playing it. It’s really hard to do justice to the game explaining its qualities, but it’s so cheap you should definitely play it even if you end up not liking it. ——— In depth review : First, a lot of critiques are actually invalidated by just reading the manual, this is the first thing the game tells you to do, even if this instruction is actually so easy to miss. The formula is pretty much core-dungeon crawler RPG, with a touch of rogue-like elements. Some people say it’s kind of a souls-like, i actually disagree. The game is hard, yes, but that’s pretty much it. Pros : Yes you have to draw your own map, and as someone who didn’t grow up with game that made you do this, i really loved it. It makes you invest yourself and engage with the game and its level design in a way that you wouldn’t otherwise. For me it was a lot of fun, i really think it adds a lot to the experience. The game system making you loose your characters and recruit new ones is really nice, i think it finds a good balance between die and retry, and the pleasure of general progression. The monster’s scaling makes sure you don’t exploit grinding tho. Progression is cool, you gain random stats at the end of every finished fight, and you sometimes randomly unlock skills while trying to cast another spell. There is a lot of random so don’t expect personnalisation for your team, the only thing you get to choose is the 4 classes you will use. The level design is nice, there is only a few mechanics but they are exploited nicely and in various manners, so there kinda is always something interesting about the dungeon and its new floors. The mid-game twist is cool, it kept my interest, even if the second part of the game is not as much fun as the first. I found the graphic style very appealing and ended up really loving all the character sprites, and the general visual vibe of the game. Music is simple but really well executed, and with all the soundscape, the game manages to create a really nice atmosphere. Cons : The gameplay is classic RPG stuff, nothing crazy. It’s really efficient even if i wish it had a little more depth to it, the type of damage you deal, for example, is supposed to be affected by the type of attack (slash, hit, piercing) but i really didn’t feel like it impacted in any case my gameplay, not as much as the randomness of the damage dealt. Elemental magic could have been the same too. The dungeon itself can get pretty boring visually. I know it’s the point for it to feel like a maze but maybe the walls could at least be a little more diverse, especially because it’s what we look at 50% of the time. As for the painful menuing, i think it’s the most legit critique that i see people make. Yeah it’s a pain to path all the way to the one character you want, the same goes even worse for creatures. The text box in combat feels pretty rough to read too. This is not a deal breaker for me, but it sure affects the general experience.

You should draw your own maps for this game. That is not Weird Gamer Git Gud Elitism speaking - Demon Lord Reincarnation is extremely basic mechanically. There's not even an inventory system. If you are using maps that you found online, you may as well spend an hour repeatedly rolling two six-sided dice and doing five push-ups every time you roll snake eyes. For the early game at least, the entirety of the game play is slowly mapping the dungeon and deciding how far into the second battle of an expedition I should use the Escape command. This is not a criticism, I think Demon Lord Reincarnation has incredible vibes and presentation worth experiencing, but know what you're getting into. This isn't something with the fiddly granularity of a Wizardry or an Etrian Odyssey over here.
Me: "Wow what a conventional dungeon crawler!! surely this won't be as hard as wizardry!" *flashback seizures of the teleport trap that got me stuck in a lower floor with thirty poison wielding ninjas and no way to cure poison start* "Anyway, i've got this!! there's no way anyone would be PSYCHOTIC enough, DERANGED enough, EVIL enough to make a wizardry-like on purpose, and even if they did there's NO WAY that this game will ♥♥♥♥ me as hard as that game did!!" The demon lord: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! HEY WERDNA!! GET A LOAD OF THIS GUY!! HE THINKS THIS ♥♥♥♥'S GONNA BE EASIER THAN WIZARDRY!!" Werdna: "HE DIDN'T EVEN BEAT WIZARDRY!! HAHAHA!! OH MY GOD HE'S SO NAIVE!! THAT POOR SWEET SUMMER CHILD!!! anyway how many poison-wielding ninjas would you like?" The demon lord:"Sir I will take your entire stock!!" *Both do the manliest handshake ever* Werdna:"Be sure to let me know how fast he rage quits!!" The demon lord: "Oh he'll be BEGGING for the trials of the mad overlord by the time I'm done with him!! that much I can promise!!"

I played this game a lot in 2025 and picked it as my game of the year when me and my friends were sharing our year in gaming! I was initially interested because I had heard a little bit about
the twist at the end of the game, which was basically made for me as a researcher of game monsters. I wasn't disappointed and I've thought about it a lot since!
. I played Dragon Ruins first, by the same developer, as my introduction to the genre, but it was DLR that really got me into it. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2929540/Dragon_Ruins/ If you end up trying it yourself, I highly recommend drawing out your own maps on some graph paper or something, rather than using a digital alternative, it added a lot to the game, and I kind of love the maps that I was left with after I finished playing! If you get the game, READ THE MANUAL!!! It's part of the experience, and you'll be lost without it. I really enjoy games developed by solo devs or small teams like this. Having played other games from Graverobber Foundation, you can feel the love for the genre (which is infectious).
what an awful trash, lol
No es para todo el mundo y se pasa un poco con el grindeo, pero hace cosas muy guays. Con muchas ganas de ver cómo evoluciona todo en la siguiente entrega 👍
I absolutely love the aesthetic but the gameplay kinda blows
It's a lot of fun but the only downside is the mapping. I don't really want to map in 2024. It's a modern perk that we ought to have I'm afraid and it is why I am probably not going to play it again, even though the rest is fantastic. Don't have time for graphs, really want to chill not faff about after work. So it is only recommended if you have the patience to deal with mandatory mapping by hand on paper. Otherwide read my thumbs up as an avoid it.
