Le jeux plante beaucoup trop....et les commandes deviennent cahotques en fin de partie
Surface level politics in a political sim, the first hour was the exact same as the 10th except now you've seen it all with minimal variation. Should've picked a specific country or made a single fictional one to expand on the system rather than make several mediocre approximations of several real nations politics. Also, while to some extent it is inevitable, it its biased in how it portrays certain political groups/policies to the degree that I could see the hand of the developers and their own beliefs instead of immersing myself in whatever playthrough I'm going for. Should've taken a more sandbox direction or dialed in on the intricacies of irl nations, but it picks neither and left me wanting more. 4/10 Not terrible, great bones, but never playing again. If you're starving for political sim, the game is on sale, and you've already played Suzerain, then its worth a few hours.

IMPOSSIBILE
Not worth the money for such a lazy job. I tried playing as the USA, only to discover that due to the debt level, there was no way to avoid the debt crisis event. I tried everything, ending social security, defunding the military, cutting out most social services, closing public education, and still had a deficit due to the credit ratings plumeting. The only way to play USA is to ignore all debt, end all taxes, and fund the government using a Ponzi scheme in which you pay for everything using debt you never intend on repaying.
Wonderful game, delightfully built
Interesting simulation/experiment. You'll ask yourself where the time has gone while playing!
It's fun to place yourself on the top of power in a nation and rule it. Will you follow your principles and rule accordingly? Will you do put them on a drawer and be the donor's toy? Something in between? Play and find out. It ain't easy, but it is fun. Plus you can chose fun names for the parties.
I love politics, I'm immersed in it every day. I hated this experience. It was terribly unenjoyable. Felt like work I paid to perform. It's not that I couldn't understand it, it's just boring. An interactive Power-Point. An Excel sheet simulator for autistic poli-sci undergrads. I bought this on sale but just realized they're trying to sell this thing for almost 30 bucks?! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I hope I get my 10 bucks back, I'm American and poor.
Good game and can play for long only if u download mods otherwise not worth at all and purchase during sale time only
Dont expect politics — it’s a numbers puzzle
. I cut pensions by 75% and pensioners hardly reacted. I still got reelected with 75% of the vote. In reality, even a small cut would be politically devastating, but here major decisions carry almost no weight. It breaks immersion and undermines the whole idea of a political simulator. Everything is balanced equally? The frustrating part is that the mechanics for a more realistic model are already in place — it just feels like the weighting was never finished.
