A Decent Space Adventure
I do recommend this game, even though it didn't leave a lasting impression on me. The story is decent and kept me interested enough to finish the game, but it never reached a point where I was genuinely excited to find out what would happen next. The same goes for the puzzles. They're not bad by any means, but they also weren't particularly clever or memorable. They mostly serve their purpose without offering many "aha!" moments. My biggest complaint is the zero-gravity traversal. Playing those sections with a controller felt awkward and unnecessarily frustrating. After a few hours, constantly spinning around in zero gravity even started making me feel a bit dizzy. Those were easily my least favorite parts of the game. That said, it's clear the developers put a lot of care and effort into creating the experience. The environments look great, the atmosphere is immersive, and the game has a nice sense of scale. While it never quite reached the level I was hoping for, I still enjoyed my time with it. Overall, I'd call it a solid, if somewhat mediocre, experience. It simply wasn't my cup of tea, but I can absolutely see someone else enjoying it much more than I did.
Good, Good, not Great, but good! I believe that some indie games which lack AAA-funding, need to compromise with visuals and very limited designing, are loved just for they manage to show how much passion they have put in to their product. Deliver Us the Moon is one of these gems which may be rough from edges and far from perfect, but still it managed to keep me hooked 7 hours not to overstay its welcome. Techincally Deliver Us The Moon has not much to brag about for it could have better graphics and the gameplay is frankly quite simple without any extraodinary innovation -- but the way it creates its atmosphere is so well build and executed that I felt more than obliged to overlook all the mediocrity behind it. It felt like an adventure where I was alone in dark, lifeless but serene spaces and slowly proving the thing what has gone wrong in the moonbase and where everyone is gone. It took me through zero gravity space, the alluring moonbase and the silent dead lunar surface each delivering fatal moments and close shaves. For players who wonder is this more survival game or walking simulator I'd say latter for survival is rather a seasoning, which is a bit of shame for moments like floating through space with limited air supplies were always thrilling - I do wish that amount of air supplies could have been even a little bit lower to raise up the tension. Nevertheless the game was such a thrilling ride from start to end, that I am not gonna forget too soon. Deliver Us the Moon is a great work of passion and shows how right choices can overcome the challenges of low budget. One released and other upcoming sequel are truely deserved and wouldn't mind to try them out in the future.

Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits :).
Amazing plot
6/10
