About
Our deep-level mining operations have gone dark. Deep Rock Galactic needs them back online at any cost. We’re sending in a crack squad of Reclaimers to breach and secure the mines, and kill whatever’s down there.
Your survival is not necessary for the success of this mission.
Step into the boots of the Reclaimers, Deep Rock Galactic’s elite corporate security force. In fast-paced 1-4 player co-op gameplay, you’ll fight through alien-infested mines as five playable classes:
GUARDIAN: The walking shield. An expert in area denial and close protection. Damages enemies with concussive blasts, and restores the team’s armor.
FALCONER: The aerial attacker. Deploys an airborne assault drone to electrify enemies. In an emergency, can even revive teammates from afar.
RETCON: The hologram berserker. Can warp back to a previous point in spacetime, restoring health and ammo to recover from dangerous situations. Lethal in all time zones.
SPOTTER: The marksman. Highlights and weakens targets with toxin darts, spots enemies through walls, and can deploy ammo crates for use in extended firefights.
SLICER: The melee expert. Carries an energy blade capable of dismembering all but the toughest opponents. Mobile, agile, aggressive.
No two runs are the same. The roguelike format means you’ll scavenge your weapons and equipment from within the mines, and collect resources to upgrade your gear and abilities. Choose from a deep pool of upgrades for your weapons and abilities, discovering lethal synergies and snowballing in power as you fight your way down to the Rift Gate.
Linger too long, and the Reaperworms will hear you. Explore each level of the mine for upgrades, equipment and resources — but remember that each stop costs precious time. Stick with your team, move quickly, and push forward at all costs.
Nobody said this would be easy. But death is only a setback. Dive, dig, die, and dive again.
Procedurally-generated caves mean every single mission gives a unique challenge of traversal and exploration. Featuring 100% destructible terrain, you can dig, carve and explode the caves around you to level the playing field. Fight your way deeper through natural caverns and enormous industrial structures.
These mines are infested with Corespawn: the most aggressive, resilient and intelligent alien life we’ve ever encountered on Hoxxes IV. 20+ different enemy types and 3 different bosses are lying in wait. Use whatever means necessary to eliminate them.
Between missions, you’ll find yourself aboard the RV-09 Ramrod. Here, you and your squad can access rich metaprogression and extensive character customization to bring into your next deployment. Lift weights, braid your beard, hit the dance floor, and have a beer with your team.
Think you’ve got what it takes to brave the depths? Wishlist Rogue Core and contact a local Reclaimers recruiting station today.

Last edited on July 27, 2026 I rate it 5/10 in its current state. It needs way more content, class-specific progression, dwarfy cosmetics, mission types, etc... What's the main issue? The game's identity is confused. It doesn't know how much it wants to cling or be different to its older sibling, DRG. And on the other hand, it fails to be a good roguelite. So, what we get is a hybrid that does not do well either of these things. Below is a detailed list of all pros and cons. CONS - mission variety is almost nonexistent.. I'm already tired of killing bosses. Roguelite does not equal "run ends in boss fight". Given the theme and gameplay of base DRG, this is simply bad. - the missions are really long. We need host migration. The option of missions under 45 minutes of avg length is also much needed. - meta progression sucks: it's limited to generic perks. There are no class-specific upgrades. - cave exploration and mining are almost entirely gone. Yes, again: this isn't DRG, we know that, but I don't see where's the benefit of not enjoying the scenery of a big cave as you traverse it? Do roguelites shun admiring a landscape? Or prevent you from scavenging for resources, exploration etc? We're still dwarves ffs. - speaking of which, the biomes have had their textures changed, somehow. they're much less vibrant. - class abilities need some fun upgrades, like the guardian's shots turning into a single single-target bullet that does huge damage but no stun... or the slicer sword cutting vertically and doing huge single-target damage.. and stuff like that. - you get no starting gear whatsoever (in DRG guns are very personal; roguelites sometimes have starting equipment).. I think having a weapon of your choice at the start would be MUCH preferrable. - in-run upgrades are often meh. weapons have few unique upgrades, making builds often repetitive or bland. - classes are gender-locked.. I don't have a personal issue with this so far, but many players only enjoy playing males and if a class I enjoy playing is later released as a female, it'll be a bummer tbh - the cosmetics SUCK. Where are the beards? There are just two and they're not even classic dwarven beards! - the enemy's sound design is seriously lacking, there is no way to gauge when or where a creeper is coming from when it leaps, and in general few enemies emit sounds that alert the player of their presence and incoming attack... - bring back minerals; without them the caves feel dead tbh. And bring back beers and cosmetics bought with money PROS - the classes are not as defining as in DRG and I enjoy that because I can be a tank and use an assault rifle if I want to. Something so basic isn't doable in DRG. - speaking of which, deck swapping is great - new guns are mostly great aesthetically and functionally - gym area (but paying drinks with heat is dumb) - the soundtrack - the ascension cutscene; for those who really care for the lore and immersion, this is a huge one How can this game improve? (ordered by priority) 1. Give us more mission types SOON. Facility defence with endless horde waves for example. Or something with a bigger degree of mining or repairing stuff. 2. Give us way more meta progression and class-specific upgrades both permanent and in-run. 3. Loadout should include starting weapon. Also add way more specific weapon upgrades. 4. everything else I wrote

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game has been nothing but disappointing. They took everything that was fun in DRG and did the opposite. Missions = Way too long Ammo = randomly placed into Narnia. 0 scaling for player count, forcing you to play with a team of 4. If anything you are punished for playing with less than 4 people by removing potential ammo slots.
The beer unlocks via mini games is actually really irritating, I liked collecting items in the missions to bring back instead to unlock beer, i do not find the lifting minigames to be fun, and they take too long. Once again, please rebalance the exploding bugs, they do too much damage, are too quiet and need a delay before exploding, they punish low ammo count weapons, and you can't melee them and the amount of armor they shred is too much. Please give them a delay before detonating, and a much more visible presence. Allow us to call out bugs with a single click. I also have a terrible time finding my team in chaos, give us accessibility options to highlight players with a outline. We could do with better melee upgrades, they seem a little lack luster, base weapons that aren't elemental or dot, are kind of MEH XD Give us a turret support ability, some of the events seem to require all 4 players, it would be nice if those scaled to the amount of people, ( like 2 players).
just dont, any other game but this one, base DRG died for this
I haven't played it a lot, but I don't like what it is. I understand it is not DRG. I like the concept of it but right now, I do not like it in its current form. I don't like the enemies at all in Rogue Core, they are just generic, the enemies of DRG had character. I don't like the way the elevator system is set up, it's just not a good transition to the next level. The game played pretty stable, but it isn't very fun right now. Its early access still but I probably wouldn't have bought it but I did want to support the devs because I loved DRG so much.
