Go undercover as the world’s greatest spies in this tense multiplayer game of subterfuge. Disguise as anyone, deploy an arsenal of high-tech gadgets or neutralize the competition. As long as you extract with the objective, no trick is too dirty when you work for DECEIVE INC.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A really fun game... And now its dead. Deceive Inc. feels like it was made in a lab for me specifically. It's a 70s retrofuturistic stylized hero-shooter based around stealth and deceiving people, specifically the other spies sent to grab a briefcase and escape. It has weird characters, an interesting premise, a cool setting, fascinating gameplay concepts, just cool as ♥♥♥♥ design and aesthetics... But perhaps it was a curse. In the end, the game did not receive enough players or money to be worked on more, and as it's a live service... That was its doom. It is still technically playable, but there's nowhere near enough players to actually get into a lobby and play which, sucks ass. I wasn't good at the game, but god if I didn't want to play it more anyways. So we send off Deceive Inc. off with a smile and sad remembrance, I damn hope this gets revived. One day...

Wow I loved this game. So sad to see it shutdown, it was a great concept and tons of fun with friends.
When played with a group of friends; Deceive is magnificent! Unfortunately in public matches, most players treat this game as a shooter. Not using any of the stealth mechanics or playing with a strategy. They simply run around out of cover and shoot everyone very early game. However, when playing with a group of friends this game can be incredibly fun!
can we just like... revive this game... its peak
This game is the most unique shooter currently available. Really sucks then that Tripwire did basically nothing to advertise for it, resulting in low player-counts which eventually lead to the developers being shut down. I will NEVER forgive tripwire for not giving this game the attention it rightfully deserved. Make no mistake, this game didn't die because of balance, or poor choices on the devs part. The blame here lies solely on the publishers shoulders.
Deceive Inc. was one of the greatest games I have ever played. A nice, refreshing take on FPS gameplay with character-based abilities. It had so much potential, but just never got the player base outside of a fairly small but dedicated community, which probably played a part in preventing new players from getting into the game. So many fantastic memories, and a game I recommended to anyone willing to try it. Deceive Inc. will be sorely missed.
I miss when this game had a player count man was it fun
I loved this game, so so much. It was incredibly innovative and the developers were very pro-consumer, but I think that may have been part of the reason this game ended up dying. I played from pre-seasons to about the end of season 2 due to performance issues; the game wouldnt function any more on my machine. You can still play with people on the discord, but it's not the same as the good old days. I booted this game up today and cried because it was so, so good, but theres nearly nobody left to play with. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this to others because the dev teams sadly had to shut down and the playerbase has dwindled so much. May you rest in peace, you absolute masterpiece of a game. o7
Awesome game while it lived. Game is dead now and Abandoned by the devs. Don't buy, steam should remove this game.
The idea was great but unfortunately, the game is dead and averages at about 30 players a day, as of writing this review I was 1 of 15 playing the game. I remember playing this game when there was roughly 7k players. it was a lot more fun back then
