Плюсы: Уникальный геймплей — сочетание автогонок и карточных механик, создающее необычный опыт. Новый персонаж — возможность играть за Либерти с её уникальными картами и снаряжением. Введение в механику — отличная возможность новичкам познакомиться с основными принципами игры. Минусы: Короткая продолжительность — пролог проходится за 20–30 минут. Ограниченная карта — всего два маршрута без разветвлений. Отсутствие нововведений — для владельцев полной версии игра не предлагает ничего уникального. Итог: Death Roads: Tournament Prologue служит отличным введением в мир игры для новых игроков, предлагая увлекательный, хотя и непродолжительный опыт. Для фанатов серии это возможность протестировать механики игры.

As an owner of the full game, the Prologue is essentially a free trial of that game with the same tutorial sequence but a different map and adding in a new driver, Liberty, to play as with her own unique driver cards and car loadout. The map, as shown in the store page, is considerably shortened with a city backdrop instead of the entire United States and only two viable routes with no branching sections that converge at the end where you will face another driver (playing through twice I've only faced Frank “Einstein” Hertz). For people who have already played the base game, the only unique additions are using Liberty as the driver and her car. All of the components are the same that you can find in the base game, though at an accelerated scaling pace due to how short the map is. Perhaps Liberty will be added to the base game in the future. For new players trying the game, this does serve well to introduce the mechanics as well as the difficulty of the game. Liberty and the car she uses are very forgiving but there is still thought needed to choose the few components you acquire and combining cards/items together. The final boss is only the other driver you meet at the end of the path and if you beat everything through the first run this will take you about 20 – 30 minutes. I think the game can still improve much by helping players understand the status effects without having to always highlight the card and then hover over the status effect on the card (A encyclopedia or compendium of effects and enemy types would be very helpful). Also some new sponsors that would have fit this trial version would have been a nice addition, but I’m sure the devs are working on that as well. Overall I still very much enjoy this game and hope this Prologue will serve to introduce more players into this quirky deck-building game that will continue to add more features.

Was a fun experience and can't wait to try the full version at some point.
