Death Must Die

this amazing game keep lagging on my potato pc so... My friend who I play CS 2 with said if I post a review on this game and it gets 100 likes and 10 Awards that he will buy me a RTX 3060 and 2 Kilos of canned ham. So I'm just gonna leave this here. Help a brotha!

bougt this game a year ago for like 10bucks and now it has dropped to 5 bucks without any updates wtf

Another low effort rip off of Hades. Game is confused what it's own pantheon is meant to be, with a hodgepodge of characterizations that they stole right out of Hades, along with what I'm assuming are meant to be some sort of homebrew pantheon? Regardless, it's sloppy as hell. Overall the gameplay is lacklustre, the interface is missing anything that might actually help the player to understand the mishmash of information that they get, some of the 'upgrades' are missing explanations, and for some reason there's a stripper elf archer? While the characters do have dialogue, it might as well be 'generic rogue statement A', or 'generic orc barbarian phrase B'. Why interrupt the poor gameflow with bad dialogue? Some of the heroes even use text emojis? So you might see random lettering that says ": o" Not worth the money, but maybe one day they will bring someone in to help the developers figure out where their heads are and where their anuses are and then help them pull one out of the other.

Tl;Dr game developers are revamping the game - wait until after the revamp since it's changing core gameplay I bought this game based on the content listed in the description. And, I came back to check the listing because some of the artwork differs enough in quality and style that I thought it might be AI. I wanted to check the store listing to see. I don't support AI. It doesn't say it's AI, but I'm still doubtful. But that's not the reason for my thumbs down. I don't think people should buy this game based on the videos, content, or store listing. If you go to the news, they are doing some major revamps to the game. If I understand correctly, the game in its current form isn't what they wanted it to be. So, they are going to revamp basically the whole system. The maps, the combat, the exploration, etc. I would suggest people don't buy the game until they release the update with all the new systems, because you aren't buying a game that will exist in its current form in the coming months or years (since it's gonna take a looooong time to revamp all the stuff the want). And honestly, don't buy into people's EA that do feature creep like this. For some reason, I thought the roadmap said it was almost done, but yeah, roadmap looks like it's resetting.

Really fun game with nice progression systems.

It's sad to see that people leave negative reviews just because it hasn't gotten an update in a while. For a game that costed a little more than 5 bucks to begin with You get a ton of replayability, addicting gameplay and the game runs very smooth (I'm playing it on linux). Please don't let these plebs discourage you from trying the game, it's very good
