About
Dear Magical Girls is a story-driven defense game where you reshape a magical barrier to hold back waves of beasts.
Arin is a magical girl in her fourth year on the job, tasked with protecting the mana stones that keep the city’s magical infrastructure running.
Between sleepless shifts and emergency dispatches, she enters the Otherworld, raises her barrier, and fights off the beasts lurking within.
Move the vertices of your barrier to expand or shrink your territory.
Attack enemies with mana cannons that travel along the barrier lines.
Expand your territory to secure more resources.
Shrink the barrier to concentrate your firepower in a smaller area.
Keep buffs inside the barrier, and push harmful debuffs out.
You’ll need to keep reshaping your barrier based on the state of the battlefield and the position of nearby resources.
When things get dangerous, stop time, reposition your vertices, and prepare for the next attack.
Use the mana gained from expanding your barrier to add new vertices.
More vertices allow you to form more complex barrier shapes, increasing your offensive options.
Upgrade your attack power and attack speed, and build the shape and firepower you need for each wave.
As the story progresses, new modules and enchants will be unlocked.
Equip new attack modules, and use enchants to enhance the traits of your existing ones.
Reshape your barrier around the movement and attack patterns of your modules.
With each wave, the beasts grow stronger. Victory depends on how you shape your barrier and manage your mana.
After each mission, you’ll return to the city and see Arin’s life as a magical girl.
Meet Charlotte, a veteran magical girl; Lily, a girl who admires magical girls; and the people living throughout the city.
As emergency calls keep coming and mysterious disappearances begin to unfold, Arin draws closer to the truth behind mana, magic, and the magical girls themselves.

Fun game and great music
짧고도 강렬한 하지만 조금더 길었으면 좋겠다
super fun free game, I like magical girls so I enjoyed it. It took me 3 hours to get all achievements but that's because I have no skill lol

It started off slow with a lot exposition, but once I got to the actual gameplay, it was really good. I really liked trying out all the different weapon types. I'm looking forward to trying out Nightmare mode at some point.
One of the most unique games that I've ever played, the gameplay is truly one of a kind (although, a little hectic at times). Each level has its own little gimmick that change up the gameplay a little bit in a fun way. While short, the story is very charming. It's linear, so don't expect a grand and branching story. My only complaint is that the dialogue in missions is hard to read when my attention is also focused the waves of monsters that spawn in right at the start. Having a small break in between waves to read the dialogue would be nice. Overall, I really like it and look forward for what the developers make next!
Very cool concept, im not usually a tower defense kinda player, but i love magical girls so i gave it a shot. gameplay was easy to understand, learning curve to master, and art and music was fantastic. wish there were steam deck controls but its a free game jam game so i dont expect the world from devs.
Dear Magical Girls is brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before
