Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In a world where RPG Maker games are often looked down upon, Deadly Sin rises above the rest and exceeds expectations. I put more than 20 hours into this game, wildly enjoying it all the way until the end. The gameplay loop is great and it encourages exploration of its big, detailed maps; however, it's those same maps that I sometimes wished got a little bit more attention. Some of them feel same-ish and empty, even too big later on. Still, finding a way to deactivate enemies and find any secrets never stopped feeling rewarding. With a very solid story to hold your attention for hours, a basic, but fun combat system and exploration, good soundtrack and incredible sense of progression, Deadly Sin is a game that truly got me excited for its sequel and all of the other titles set in the same universe - Skyborn (that I already played years ago and loved) and Echoes of Aetheria. The only complaint that I have for this game is a somewhat unfair difficulty spike at the very end, but after realising how to beat those last few bosses, the reward was all the more sweet. This game is a definite recommendation from my part, if you're looking to spend fun, nostalgic dozens of hours inside a well-made world.
I really enjoyed the beginning of this game, but started to lose interest as I entered the first dungeon and the path split into several different directions and the enemies became more powerful. It is too difficult trying to explore all of the different paths when the enemies are powerful.

Very nice game. I use an x-box
I have a lot of mixed thoughts on Deadly Sin. ON the 1 hand, it is rather impressive what was done with it back in 2009. On the other hand, even at the time I wasn't that crazy about it as it was doing what older console games were doing for years at that point. So even by today's standards, it isn't that impressive. Stop me if you heard this plot before: girl loses parents. Girl lives in the forest with her adoptive uncle. Girl gets letter from said uncle to brave the dangers to see an old friend. Girl learns her heritage isn't what it seems. Sounds super familiar, right? And that is how I would describe Deadly Sin in general: familiar. The combat is generic as well. Character's take turns attacking until someone wins. Each turn, a character generates some sort of energy / MP to use spells and skills. Characters gain money, experience, and skill points after battle. Skill points are used to learn new spells / skills. Learning skills is what ultimately allows characters to learn more powerful ones. And it isn't the character's levels that dictate what they can learn: It's the ultimately the number of skills / spells learned. In general, it's a fine combat system. The problem with it is that it is a slog. Enemies have high HP pools while taking little damage from the characters. There doesn't seem to be a clear formula to maximize damage. Characters either do a lot of damage or they don't; they receive a lot of damage or they don't. What should be a quick battle is a 5 minute slog. Most enemies -- even bosses (this is how to defeat the last 2 bosses with minimal difficulty)-- are weak to the stun status effect. So once a boss suffers it, it's just a matter of time until the boss is defeated. Graphics are a mixed bag as well. The tileset is clearly from the RPG maker engine. However, combat is seen from the party's back. So each of the characters are large and have some sort of animation to them. Sonically, the game contains a lot of the same sounds from the engine. So if you've played other games made in it, you'll likely recognize them. The music, on the other hand, fits the setting rather well. It took me around 25 hours to beat this game. And as much as I carp on it and talk about how generic it is, it was an indie darling back in 2009. It impressed a lot of reviewers. It's somewhat easy to see why as it has a lot of charm to it, and it shows off the talents of a new studio. I picked this game up on sale for a dollar or 2. And that is the perfect price for it.
The negative reviews are unwarranted. Yes the boss in the castle is challenging; they are the hardest boss up to that point and, I would say, the point at which combat becomes interesting. If you are stubborn, like me, they are beatable without changing your equipment around, but if you want to beat them in less than 30 mins then I suggest thinking carefully how to equip your tank. The Good: the developers clearly had a great deal of love for this game; the custom sprites and battle animations are fantastic (I have played SO many games made in RPGmaker, but this has to be one of the better looking ones just for the combat). The combat uses a threat system (similar to Skyborn) which gives you a great deal of control, keeps early combat engaging and allows for later combat to be more challenging/rewarding. The Bad: not to say it is perfect; the menus are a pain to navigate, the skill menu is especially bad. The female dialog feels like it was written by a man who has no sisters or daughters (you will see what I mean). And most of the female sprites/models have flotation devices in either their chests or backsides...or both! Before "that" boss: the game is easy, fast paced and "fine" (it took me about 12 hours to reach them) After that boss: the game becomes much more interesting, through there is not much before the last boss (it took me about 15 hours to reach them) The difference is that in the last 3 hours you can find many unique weapons/equipment that empower specific abilities, allowing you to effectively customise your play style, it gives you a sense of control and achievement. There is also an optional super-hard area, with the super boss at the end (it took me about 20 hours to beat everything). I was delighted with the extra 5 hours of content (though the "super" boss was much easier than the 12 hour boss as I was able to empower the abilities that were most effective) Do not skip this game; it is good (not perfect) and deserves to be appreciated
Crashed my *monitor*. Not my computer, but my monitor.
It's quite good. Lots of technical problems but overall a great amateur attempt with above average writing. (still has a few annoying indie tropes like random references to other games, but it's rare)
It is a nice way to let your mind think of other things, like saving people's lives
