Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Not the best of the 3 but its fun "THEY ARE HUNGRY"
아이작의 스토리가 산으로 가서 평가는 복합적이지만 게임의 재미 자체는 훌륭함 나만의 무기 만들어서 전략적으로 쓰는 재미가 있음
its fine as a game, but not as dead space

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Man ♥♥♥♥ YOU EA! Why is THIS the most supported Dead Space game, support Dead Space 2 more than this. I'm gonna make this short, but this game is hella mid. The new crafting system is great an allows for a lot of customization, but since all of the ammo is the exact same, it just doesn't feel like there's any need to be resourceful with your ammo since it's all the same no matter what. The enemies are also spammed everywhere with how there is now much more ammo and human enemies are now here and this game transformed into third person Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. The story is also super generic and basic, which while the other games weren't super crazy, they at least had originality in what they did, in here they did the love triangle as Isaac and Norton (♥♥♥♥ him) try to out-alpha each other for the same woman. Norton is also the twist villain which wasn't hidden that well at all, and there was the whole thing with evil terrorist guy releasing the marker again for a reason. The reason is... uh, better humanity. Who is the villain? Well ♥♥♥♥ me cuz I don't remember. Other than that I think this game is alright. I like how Isaac is written when he isn't doing things with the romance storyline. Carter is a slightly interesting character, and the bosses are pretty cool. The ending was also pretty good and it's a good thing that the series ended here with Isaac sacrificing himself to save humanity right? .......right?
There is some interesting stuff in here, but unfortunately, this whole thing just feels mishmashed and doesn't come together as a satisfying whole in my opinion. I really abhor the direction that was taken to turn Dead Space from a pure survival horror game into an action game with some survival horror stuff tacked onto it, and the game is worse for it. So much of this feels like 2010's trend chasing between the addition of a crafting system where it doesn't make sense to have one, turning it into a co-op game, the soundtrack being booming and cinematic, adding in human opponents with a cover system even when humans make up a smaller percentage of the enemies and have never been opponents, and an ensemble cast seemingly designed to strip away any sense of isolation or fear you might've had in the previous games. The big set pieces like the frozen giant alien remains, the moon and the pre-Tau Volantis missions in the planet's airspace are admittingly very well done, and the art direction is cool; I did like that the necromorphs on Tau Volantis look more like mummies than fresh corpses by virtue of them being 200 years old, and for a 2011 game overall, it looks good, but I'm not sure if it really looks that much different from DS1 and 2. Gameplay wise, the shift into action is immediately apparent and my biggest reservation about it. It's fine, but it really does feel like it's designed for the co-op crowd first and singleplayer second. I was practically swimming in ammo and heals for the entire game and never really felt in danger at all, and any sense of inventory management is out the window here with how much heals they give you and how little I had to spend thinking about conserving resources, compared to the scarcity seen in previous titles. I don't feel like the weapon crafting adds a lot, I mostly just ended up hitting the endgame with the plasma cutter and rivet gun that I acquired around the halfway point. Level design is fine. It has its moments but nowhere near the level of atmosphere that the previous two had, and there's lots of backtracking, but I don't mind that aspect so much. The story is fine but doesn't really start doing innovative stuff until the third act of the game when the mystery of what happened to Tau Volantis's previous residents begins to unravel. Isaac is still Isaac, but I'm a little surprised at the lack of baggage from previous installments that I would've thought he would have. Carver is clearly meant to be Isaac's partner in co-op, but he just kinda feels...there? I don't think he's a particularly effective foil to Isaac I really also don't like what they did with Ellie here, both her and Santos feel very male-gazey with how they're portrayed, especially coming in from DS2 and how cool Ellie was in that game. I thought the whole love triangle between her, Isaac and Norton was unnecessary, and I genuinely don't think it added anything to the game besides angst. I truly believe that the game would've been better if Carver and Norton were just cut outright and Ellie was made the co-op character instead. Overall, it's a bit of a shame Dead Space ended this way and that we're probably not gonna see any more content for this franchise beyond that remake from a couple of years ago. I'd be keen to see if there was interest in a remake of 2, or a reprisal of this game with the original vision Visceral had for it before EA demanded it be retooled into an action game,
Опять издательство EA закопала очередную франшизу своими тупыми требованиями, хотя мне игра очень понравилась. Разнообразие и уход чучуть в другую степь игре явно не помешало.

Make sure to play the first 2 games. Nice and scary, maybe a remaster?
