Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's mid, a little better if you go in expecting a long co-op action shooter and not a Dead Space title. Please note I did my best to refrain from spoilers, if you care about gameplay or story spoilers just ignore the spoiler sections, they're not core parts of this review.
THE GOOD:
- The co-op is cool, the game is very clearly intended to be played that way and you miss out on some unique elements by opting to play solo. - The weapon system encourages you to experiment and heavily personalize your loadout to fit your playstyle (not without it's flaws, more on that in the bad section) - There is exactly one cool horror element in this game
[The Brethren Moons]
- It's the longest Dead Space title, you get a lot of playtime for better or for worse. - It will run fine on pretty much anything (Specs attached, my PC sucks)
THE BAD:
- The "horror" aspects of this game suck, it feels like little to nothing was carried over from the first two titles, Dead Space 2 did action horror right, 3 seemingly stripped all of the atmosphere from it and it's more of an action drama. - The writing takes a dive in this title, I was left with a lot more questions than anything else, and the DLC (because of course there's a paid DLC) doesn't do much to aid the player in concluding the story.
The weird love triangle between Ellie Isaac and whoever the other dude is was just really corny and serves as filler for most of the early-mid chapters.
Speaking of filler, there is a lot of it. - Level design is pretty bad and lazy, there are at least 50 elevators in this game that take you from one section to another seemingly identical section of the game. I thought I had gone in a circle at times, I'm pretty sure some indoor segments are reused multiple times throughout the game. In addition to endless elevators there are also
climbing sections
which you have to do 5+ times and it is nearly identical in it's execution every time - The puzzles are very low quality, barely puzzles even. Anything you can interact with using kinesis isn't the most creative thing either, honestly kinesis in general isn't very fun in this game. - Enemy design, what the hell happened here? The Necromorphs in 1 & 2 were a spectacle of body horror, the grotesque and gory nature of them were central to the identity of the game. In Dead Space 3 they just look like an average horror monster/grunt, the texture on the enemies just all blur together. Even the gorier segments of this game feel dull and lifeless. - The weapon system, crafting, and ammo: One of the biggest differences from this game to the other 2 is that enemies mostly drop can now drop resources to be used at workbenches in the new crafting system. You need these resources for basically everything, so good luck gathering enough to upgrade your rig adequately while making a gun that actually does something. While the weapon system is cool it is also extremely confusing and full of bloat. The blueprint weapons suck so don't even bother with them, most of the craftable weapons suck too actually. There are basically zero hints on how to create certain guns or what you can do with your scavenged weapon parts. I still don't really understand how the game uses ammo clips either as sometimes it just wouldn't consume them when I'd reload or I just couldn't use it with one of my guns. - Third party EA app + DRM is required to play, extremely annoying considering EA seems to have the "Keep Me Signed In" button there only as a fun interactive game to play while you're trying to reset your password every 2 weeks. You can't even accept game invites through the launcher without errors, what a joke. - Ration seals, resource packs, and typical EA tomfoolery: This part is really stupid, ration seals were a feature in the game used to purchase resource packs, which when bought would give you what is essentially a 2013 version of a loot box, you could either get these periodically through scavenging or, of course, you could throw some hard earned money EA's way to purchase it as currency. THEY REMOVED THE ABILITY TO SPEND THESE SEALS ON THE STEAM VERSION, YOU EFFECTIVELY SCAVENGE A BUNCH OF TRASH THROUGHOUT THE GAME BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT ABLE TO GET THE RESOURCE PACKS ANYMORE. This has been a pretty long winded review and I'm sure I could think of more negatives and probably not too many more positives, I went into this expecting to close out a great franchise and story on a high note but was really disappointed, EA Derailed an amazing horror franchise with this game.
