Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

This game causes me psychological pain to play
aaaa yes. Started it up after playing it in 2020. And ofc Origin still hunts me to this day, so you can't start the game without a pop-up of a dead-end Origin that doesn't exist because you can't even make the account it wants you to make.... so had to go into the files and remove the license manually, worked just fine after, feels like I lobotomized the poor bastard.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i got this game a while ago for the white background and finally got around to play it. i know nothing about the dead space games so this was an intro to the series and so far, its really enjoyable. a few parts of the games reminds me a lot of bioshock, which i love, so i intend to play more of it and maybe even the other games in the series.
This is a hard one to decide whether to recomend or not. Dead Space 3 isnt a terrible game, but it absolutely pales in comparison to the previous games. I think I would recommend it if you get it on sale, but I also have to mark this review as not recommended because of that. I didn't have a bad time with this game overall, there was definitely moments of fun. But those moments were also accompanied by plenty of moments of frustration and even bordem. The story in Dead Space 3 is frankly not great. There is a few interesting plot points towards the end, but the majority of it is rather weak. The writing is even worse. The characters all act like idiots, the new antagonist is very unintimidating, and Ellie suffered a severe character assassination. No longer is she the strong badass she was in Dead Space 2. Instead she is a damsel in distress who can barely survive on her own. The absolute worst part of the game is the level design. It is bland and repetitive almost the entire time, and dear god the amount of elevators and ladders and checkpoint corridors gets infuriating. Even the final area, which is the most visually interesting part of the game has you backtracking multiple times. The optional missions are even worse with them reusuing the same palettes and room layouts. The combat feels alright, but there is a definite lack of feedback when you hit enemies sometimes. I had occasions where i couldnt tell if I was doing damage at all as the enemies wouldn't react in the slightest. The weapon crafting system is kinda interesting, but it is very easy to make an extremely strong gun. Whether that is a bad thing or not is subjective I suppose. But with the weapon crafting comes a rework of the ammo economy. There is now only one ammo type, and they absolutely shower you in it. Health packs too. You will never need to worry about running out of consumables with how much they give you in this game. Visually the game is rather dull. You spend a lot of time in the same snowy enviroments and bland labs. The necromorphs look terrible compared to the previous incarnations, and the suits all look pretty ugly in my opinion. Dead Space 3 is just a huge disappointment when you compare it to the incredible first two games. But if you look at it on its own, it's simply okay. Unfortunately that isn't enough for me to recommend it.
Despite the negative reviews, and just after finishing playing through Dead Space 1 and 2 for the second time I thought I'd give this one a go! I clocked up 2.2 hours and decided that, that was enough. It just didn't feel like the previous games. Overbearing music played on headphones, very little suspense with constant action, and call me old fashioned, I'm 60 plus, I didn't sign up for shooting humans with the unnecessary rolling and ducking buttons! What the hell happened to the tool bench? I couldn't be arsed with all that so I'm not wasting anymore of my precious time on it! Why mess with a tried and tested successful formula with the first 2 games which were 2 of the best games that I've played. Both fully immersive and both full of suspense and great gameplay! Its only saving grace if anything is there's less buttons to map. This could have been a really good sequel with the same effort taken producing the first two! This is what happens when you take the love out of what you do and head straight for the money! What a shame!
I really wanted to be contrarian and liked this game. But i can't. This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥ blows. It is a downgrade from dead space 2 in every way. EA once again ruins another franchise and the ones to suffer aren't the executives that pushed this game too early and forced the game to shift its focus but its the studio who was strong armed into making it. A travesty that this ended the franchise. Yes there was the remake but it also underperformed so no, the franchise still haven't recovered from the disaster that is this game.
держит планку легендарной серии, очень рекомендую!
Most mid to ever mid. 5/10
