Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dead Effect is a sci-fi horror FPS where you play as one of two people who are entirely unconcerned with the zombie apocalypse which has seemingly occurred. It is not necessarily a good game on its own, but considering that it was basically just a ripoff of dead space for mobile gamers it's surprisingly not terrible. Some good fun to be had, especially if you can get past all the jank.
is a okay game that takes some getting use to, the only downside to it is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reload time by the time your gun reloads you already died. You can upgrade the reload time of weapons in this game using money that you collect while dying because your gun wouldn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reload fast enough. Also collecting and carrying ammo is serous lacking in the game. You find ammo and it say's ammo is full then you'll shoot at 3 zombies and you suddenly don't have anymore ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ammo. I want to like this game cause it is pretty cool but damn what a monetization system even though everything is free. This game is not for the lazy as it takes some serous effort.
so i played and beat Dead effect on mobile and liked it, i however do not like the microtransactions on mobile games so i sought after the PC version on steam. first off ill say i got the game for a dollar so being so every flaw or issue is not that big a deal because of how little was spent on the game, ever so the game does have its fair share of flaws. so what's the bad, the bad is as follows: the voice acting ( as other users have mentioned frequently), the grinding to progress the main story by continuous replaying of said survival and biohazard modes. the sound effects (in terms of something missing like for example footsteps), the damage to health ratio ( its very easy even on easy to die and very frustrating because every time you die, you need to spend your credits ( with the only solution being a health upgrade that while makes the game easier, does not sadly make it more balanced in every aspect), (which is one of the gotcha tactics they implemented on the mobile versions) that you also need to upgrade your weapons in order to progress and have fun with the game). there's some very noticeable frame rate drops on one specific (but odd) biohazard level/map, i also personally wish like in AVP 2010 for example that you could see your characters legs. there's a flashlight that has the same functions as the one in doom 3's BFG edition that honestly should have at least double if not three times the battery life it has before dying. there's also the ability to run/sprint but that honestly is a big joke as your character has the stamina of a 400 pound person. now for the good, the good is as follows: the gunplay/combat is great, the amount of weapons (while better in Dead effect 2) is fine/good. they give you the choice in which to play as a male or female space marine, i think even tho its dated/ a mobile port that the graphics are more then servable. i like the level designs of the FTL space ship in which the whole game takes place, i think survival and bio hazard are a lot of fun. the music is fine and good, they allow you to play after beating the main story, the game again but with all your acquired weapons and upgrades which is nice and much more fun then doing every thing all over again without choice. honestly i like the game but Dead effect 2 is ten times better, if you can handle the flaws and don't mind a regular FPS zombie shooter that happens to be set in space ( which is cool) then pay i say (if you ever had to) up to 5 dollars but the second game is the one you wanna make sure to check out as it has almost none of the flaws this game has and its even on the switch which is cool. i give it a 6/10. (P.S. i did not experience any crash's or bugs)
Peak!
Dead Effect is a straightforward science-fiction first-person shooter that blends zombie action with survival-horror themes aboard a spacecraft where an ambitious mission has gone disastrously wrong. Developed and published by BadFly Interactive, a.s., it favors fast combat, weapon upgrades, hostile corridors, and escalating enemy encounters over complicated storytelling or tactical simulation. Its smaller scale is immediately apparent compared with major FPS productions, but the focused design gives it a distinctive arcade-like quality that suits players looking for an accessible horror shooter. The story takes place aboard the ESS Meridian, a spacecraft intended to carry humanity toward a new world using advanced faster-than-light technology. Instead of arriving as planned, the player's character awakens from cryogenic sleep to discover that something terrible has happened aboard the vessel. Members of the crew have become dangerous creatures, normal operations have collapsed, and the ship has effectively transformed into an enormous hostile environment. As a member of the elite Unit 13, the player must investigate the disaster while fighting through the infected population. Combat is the strongest element of the experience. Most encounters involve moving through enclosed rooms and corridors while eliminating increasingly aggressive groups of enemies. The game provides fourteen weapons that can be upgraded, creating a useful progression system that encourages players to improve their preferred equipment. Firearms are supported by grenades and trip mines, which become particularly valuable when enemies arrive in groups. The shooting mechanics are relatively simple, but the constant pressure from approaching creatures keeps encounters energetic. Special abilities provide additional options during difficult battles. Bullet Time slows the action and gives the player an opportunity to reposition or accurately target enemies during hectic encounters. Devastation provides an area-based offensive ability that is useful when several creatures manage to surround the player. These mechanics do not radically change the FPS formula, but they add welcome flexibility and help distinguish the combat from completely conventional zombie shooting. The campaign is divided into twelve missions and is designed as a comparatively short adventure rather than an enormous narrative-driven FPS. This compact structure works reasonably well because the fundamental combat loop could become repetitive over a much longer campaign. Exploring the Meridian, finding equipment, upgrading weapons, and surviving increasingly dangerous encounters provide sufficient momentum to keep the experience moving. The mysterious circumstances surrounding the ship also give players a reason to continue investigating, although the narrative remains more functional than deeply developed. Enemy encounters rely heavily on quantity and pressure. Zombies and other mutated creatures regularly force the player to manage ammunition, positioning, abilities, and available explosives. The artificial intelligence is not especially sophisticated, and many enemies primarily succeed by relentlessly approaching the player. Consequently, experienced FPS players may eventually recognize predictable patterns. Even so, narrow environments can make otherwise simple enemies threatening when several attack simultaneously and restrict opportunities to retreat. Outside the campaign, Survive and Biohazard modes extend the game's lifespan with additional combat-focused missions. These modes are worthwhile for players who enjoy the core shooting mechanics and want further opportunities to use upgraded equipment. They do not completely reinvent the experience, but they give the game considerably more replay value than the campaign alone would provide. Achievement hunters also have numerous objectives to pursue, adding another incentive to revisit missions and supplementary modes. The visual presentation effectively supports the horror atmosphere despite showing its age. Dark industrial corridors, futuristic machinery, unsettling creatures, blood effects, and dramatic lighting create an appropriately hostile environment. Certain areas can feel visually repetitive, and character or environmental detail cannot compete with larger modern productions. Nevertheless, the overall aesthetic remains coherent. The Meridian feels isolated and dangerous, which is more important to the experience than sheer graphical sophistication. Sound design further reinforces the atmosphere through weapon effects, enemy noises, environmental audio, and music that accompanies moments of danger. The presentation works best when the player is moving cautiously through quiet sections before an encounter suddenly becomes chaotic. Although neither the audio nor graphical technology is exceptional by contemporary standards, both successfully support the mixture of horror and arcade-style action. Steam Deck compatibility is reasonably encouraging, although the experience should not be confused with full Steam Deck verification. The game is considered Playable on the handheld rather than Verified. It can operate on SteamOS with suitable performance, and its interface text is generally usable on the smaller screen. However, certain interactions may require touchscreen input, the virtual keyboard, or adjustments to the controller configuration. Players can also encounter controller prompts that do not perfectly correspond to Steam Deck controls, while display settings may require some manual attention. It is therefore practical for portable play, but users should expect occasional configuration or input inconveniences. The game's biggest limitations come from repetition and its relatively modest production scope. Corridors and combat situations can begin feeling familiar, enemy behavior is fairly basic, and the story never becomes as sophisticated as the atmospheric premise might suggest. Players expecting a deep survival-horror experience comparable to more elaborate genre titles may find the systems too arcade-oriented. Likewise, those expecting an advanced FPS may consider the shooting and level design overly simple. Despite those weaknesses, Dead Effect remains enjoyable when approached as a compact science-fiction zombie shooter rather than an ambitious horror epic. Its combination of weapon upgrades, special abilities, explosives, numerous enemies, atmospheric environments, and additional game modes provides a satisfying amount of content for its focused design. The action is immediate and uncomplicated, while the abandoned-spacecraft setting gives the experience enough personality to rise above being a completely generic zombie shooter. Ultimately, Dead Effect is best suited to players who appreciate accessible FPS combat, science-fiction horror settings, progression systems, and large numbers of enemies to eliminate. Its age and limitations are noticeable, but its core gameplay remains entertaining in short sessions. The relatively concise campaign prevents repetition from becoming overwhelming, while the additional modes offer extra value for anyone who enjoys its combat loop. Rating: 7/10
