About
Step into the world of divine horror in Dead by Daylight's first community-created Chapter: Chorus of Sin. Play as The Judgment, a divine Killer sent to cleanse the world in flame, and Aurora Stardotter, a resolute Survivor leading her people out of the ashes.
Dead by Daylight: Chorus of Sin
Violent destruction guided by divine purpose. Scientific reason tempered by unshakable faith. The vengeful meets the virtuous in Dead by Daylight: Chorus of Sin, an original Chapter featuring a new Killer, The Judgment, and a new Survivor, Aurora Stardotter.
The Judgment
A member of the Celestial Echelon, The Judgment metes out divine punishment throughout the cosmos. When the people of Terra Primus aspired to godhood, The Judgment answered their sins with fiery retribution, razing their cities to the ground with pillars of divine light. So began a decades-long apocalypse that turned their paradise into a wasteland.
POWER: DIVINE LIGHT
Channel a pillar of Divine Light that injures Survivors and applies Heresy.
KILLER EFFECT: HERESY
Survivors gain Heresy when hit by Divine Light or by taunting The Judgment. Heretics suffer from special Skill Checks when repairing Generators, regressing their progress when the Great Skill Check zone is missed.
KILLER SUB-REALM: EXILE
Instead of using a Hook, downed Heretics may instead be banished to Exile, where they must avoid dangerous Seeds of Punishment or risk speeding up their demise. While there are Heretics in Exile, The Judgment will become Zealous, empowering Divine Light.
If a Heretic has two Hook states when they are downed, The Judgment may choose to kill them instead of sending them to Exile.
KILLER OBJECT: SHRINES OF JUDGMENT
Shrines of Judgment will spawn throughout the Trial. Survivors may Repent at these Shrines to cleanse themselves of their Heresy or use them to Liberate any Heretics trapped in Exile.
The Judgment’s Perks
Hex: Under Your Thumb: The first time a Survivor gains a Hook state, ignite a Dull Totem that limits their Haste.
Lay Waste: Whenever you damage a Generator, it will regress faster the further it has been repaired.
Celestial Witness: Briefly reveal your Obsession's aura when they are at a distance.
Aurora Stardotter
A member of the Searchers, Aurora was meant to be executed with her brethren in Ultracapitalis. But when The Judgment unleashed its fury on Terra Primus, Aurora escaped into the chaos, using her gift of star-reading to lead others to safety. As the Judgment returned time and time again to cleanse the world further, Aurora met with it to plead the plight of her people, only to find herself cast into the depths of Exile instead. It was only by the grace of a group of survivors that she was liberated into a world of endless fog.
Aurora Stardotter's Perks
Fruits of Your Labor: Accumulate tokens for each completed Generator. Finishing a Generator's repairs briefly grants you Haste and increases your accumulated healing for each token you possess.
Salvation's Cry: While being chased by the Killer, both of your auras will be briefly revealed to fellow Survivors. Your teammates' auras will be visible to you in turn.
Boon: Steadfast: Create a Boon Totem that causes Generators in range to regress slower and be repaired faster.
Exclusive Chapter Cosmetics
The Chorus of Sin Chapter includes an exclusive cosmetic for both characters: The Judgment's Peridot Incarnation and Aurora's Fate's Chosen. These are only available as part of the DLC and cannot be purchased separately.

Really bad
I think the killer is fun to play as and fun to play against. There are some rough edges (as always) with this DLC. Despite all the criticisms, I am having fun with this DLC.

How is this even approved? At least nurse and first has "some" counterplay. This is full of guessing and luck. Most of the time the killer doesn't need to think and just spam and win. I'm a killer main, and I even find this killer boring, why is it so easy to win? Let's say an occasional god swf wins since they gen rush, coms, and wins the guessing/luck/knows how to play/loop somehow, but solo q, etc, how? I played it in ptb, and in live build, both times, same thing. Be in chase, attack the ones in gens, or protect the hex with your power. No need for hooking as well. For those saying this killer is hard to use, just learn to flick, etc and even if you miss the cd is basically super forgiving. Not only that, you have somehow inbuild bloodwarden, if you get flashlight-ed the surv gets heresy and even flashlight-ed too. What? Why is this killer so glazed? The question is why is this even in the game?

Chorus of Sin isn't just another chapter. It's Behaviour's first real experiment where players spent almost a year voting on everything from the killer's type and lore to the mori, perks, name, and even the music. The Judgment and Aurora Stardotter are literally ours, totally community-created. The divine horror, the post-apocalyptic vibe, and the connection between the killer and the survivor through the apocalypse feel so fresh and atmospheric. Judgment's power with Divine Light and Exile, plus Aurora's perks, all work in a really fun way. Just knowing that this is the result of hundreds of thousands of votes gives the chapter a special weight. Of course, it wasn't without drama. The voting split the community a bit, and some results had to be adapted because of engine and tech limits, especially the mori. That understandably caused some disappointment for people who voted for specific things. That's exactly why in the future, if BHVR wants to bring back the Grimoire, it would be way better to make two survivors right from the start. That would really lower the tension. More people would get to see "their" character, and there would be less of that feeling that your idea lost forever. Two survivors and one killer in a community chapter is the perfect compromise. Overall, the experiment was a huge success. I'd really love to see events like this once a year or at least every two years. They should totally make it a tradition. Chorus of Sin proves that players can create awesome content, even if the process gets a bit messy and loud sometimes.
