Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 26.13/day in the week to Aug 3 → 74.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Groovy, joyful, flow-inducing fun, carried by snappy, satisfying gameplay and killer presentation
<Reviewed during Early Access on 2026.07.13 – There are already 4 boss levels along with a generous challenge mode and the ability to import your own songs, which is promising for replay value. Can’t wait to play the last stages and reunite the band> Distributing slap and punches to the rhythm of disco, hip-hop, k-pop and heavy metal in Dead as Disco is the most fun I’ve had in a while. Play the demo and take on a hulking, bass-wielding recreation of Johnny Rotten to the beat of Maniac, and try not to have the biggest grin on your face 😊 This game must be commended for how satisfying the core gameplay loop feels. After 5 minutes of tutorial, the mechanics stand out of your way, and you can easily lose yourself to the beat and reach that elusive flow state. Crisp and responsive moves, forgiving dodge & counter windows, fevered special moves, stylish takedowns, this is Hi-fi rush pushed to perfection, with an insane attention to boss levels

2026 Night Fever
(+) Crisp, snappy, euphoric gameplay. This is the core of the experience and the devs nailed it. Hitting airborne enemies, performing finishers to the beat of the music, it all feels too good not to bob your head and tap along the rhythm. (+) Outstanding presentation, from the boss transition phases, animated cutscene, crowd going wild around the stages. (+) Impressive original soundtrack with multiple songs in the style of each band member, along with old classics that are a perfect match for the aesthetic. Catchy tunes!

Suggestions to improve the Early Access
While the game already feels fantastic, there are some points which can be further refined. (-) Collectibles game needs some QoL , it’s quite important for the storyline but not super convenient to know what to find and where to look for it. Could use a “bookmark” feature from pause menu, and a “reminder” on stage selection. Despite a bright orange outline, the items are not so easy to spot in some stages (-) Custom songs uploading and BPM setting is a bit of a hassle despite the “tap to the beat” feature. Would be cool if it could be auto-determined. (-) The game-changing feature would be the ability to link with streaming services , as Audiosurf 2 managed to do, as this has become the default music listening experience for so many of us. I barely own CD or keep mp3 anymore.

Genuinely one of the coolest games ever. It has insanely good art design and hits that sweet spot of being simple to pick up, yet increasingly challenging the deeper you get—all without losing its fast, fun pace. The fact that you can also add your own custom soundtrack just gives it a ton of replayability. 10/10 for me.
ok
the amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they put in the game makes it unenjoyable just buy sifu
Wow. Cool game. i think i gonna play a lil bit more of it
Such a great game! The boss fights and combat are simple and fun yet there is still enough there to test your skill. All of the music is great. Hemlok is a great first boss. I can not wait for more bosses and music! 5 Stars!
本来好好的游戏,请不要瞎改,奇点浮空砍了没啥怎么清理杂兵,本来就要赶时间,你这搞得查理跟白板一样,还玩啥希望赶紧把奇点改回去,要不你加点能替代奇点的,
love the on beat combat love the arkham style
coppied from a previous review because it hit the nail on the head to how I felt. I was waiting and waiting for the rhythm part of the game to kick in but it never came! THE RHYTHM NEVER CAME!!! I was very surprised to learn that there is no possible executable syncopative maneuvers you can do in this game. The engine just does not allow for attacking on the upbeat. Sorry any Jazz at all. Sorry Reggae and tons of other genres. If I had known this up front, I wouldnt have wasted my time. Maybe you won't waste yours now. From JawnHenry This isn't a rhythm game—it's a series of semi-automatic quick-time events. If you want a game that actually rewards timing and musical skill, play Bits & Bops, Rhythm Heaven, or even Gitaroo Man. Those games make you feel connected to the music. Here, the flashy visuals do most of the heavy lifting, while the gameplay never delivers the depth or precision you'd expect from the genre.
Too expensive for too little content
It has fantastic art direction and a solid soundtrack, but almost everything else feels severely underdeveloped. There are like 3 enemy types, all with completely brain-dead AI. The 3 bosses are the same, each relying on basically 2 attack patterns with extremely generous parry timings and dodge windows. To compensate for the lack of difficulty, they are given enormous health pools, making the fights easy but incredibly tedious. I concede that the animations are crisp and the combat feels punchy for all of 2 hours it would take to finish this game. Asking 20 bucks in this economy for this little content is a joke. Perhaps after a year of updates, with significantly more content and a steep discount, it might be worth recommending. For anyone looking for a 3D brawler, just play Sifu. It is better in every respect except for maybe the art style.
