How long can you survive a post-apocalyptic world? A land overrun with an infected "zombie" population, where you compete with other survivors for limited resources. Will you team up with strangers and stay strong together? Or play as a lone wolf to avoid betrayal? This is DayZ – this is your story.

Great game, BUT, its full of hackers or bugs that still get you killed out of the blue. In few hours of playing, dead in the middle of woods with great gear, hidden, running. Just plain hacker bullet from miles a way insta kills you. Its just no point in playing when your loot ownership is up to which hackers decides to play on your server. Then it happens over and over again. You just insantly die without any warnings in hidden places where no one is even around.
> grind for loot for 10 hours with my friend > meet a dad with his son with 2 hours of playtime > kill his dad accidentally > promise the kid that we'll give him better loot when his dad comes back as an apology > the kid got a gun but had no idea how to use it > figured it out > the kid shot us in the head absolute 10/10 game i love it
I have been playing video games my whole life. DayZ is one of those games that doesn't get you the first day. your prior experience in other games is practically worthless here. Its a grind. Ther is soo much to learn! I have nearly 3,000 hours logged and i still learn something new every day i play. Its soo much deeper and stays challenging. Please give DayZ the old college try with a friend. Learn how to navigate the launcher and find a modded server you can vibe with. you will thank me later
🏕️ While many similar games like Rust or PUBG have completely changed over the years, DayZ has remained quite true to its origins. Many would say that this is a bad thing - simple building and crafting systems, a ton of expected features missing that were implemented by modders a long time ago. But I would argue its what actually makes this game unique: crafting is not bloated, its simple and straightforward, focused on things that you actually need right now, and the building system that doesnt transform the map into a metropolis of castles and one unending raid between them 🗺️ A map that feels real and not procedurally generated (because it was heavily inspired by real life locations), with realistic distances, elevation, and biome changes (not your typical videogamy ice biome goes straight into a desert). Yes, gameplay on those maps will consist of 95% running and 5% action. But that 5% will be the most hand shaking action you have ever experienced, with kills and deaths that you will remember for a long time afterward. Also, while heavily situational, having the ability to experience a non-violent encounter is so refreshing, especially for someone used to extraction shooters with a near 💯% kill on sight probability ⚠️ Just be ready that this is a challenging game, and learning things without guides will be quite hard. Also be ready that there are basically no features to ease team play, and running for hours to meet your homie is the norm. But its all well worth it in the end if you overcome the learning curve
never played such a dysfunctional game before that has safer community servers than official servers. This is how my experience went after not playing for years: Spawn in official server chernarus with the bros, raid what feels like a dev room and had us feeling like kids in a candy shop, build our base, raid a couple other bases we stumble upon, I decide to play during low pop only 5 players or so and head into a town, hear nothing then see a ghillie suit with suppressed m4 aimbotting and speedhacking towards you. dead, play a little more (hey who knows maybe it was a really stealthy player is all), get some fun fresh spawn kills while your scrounging still for loot, BAM speed hacker pops up from some grass and sprays me down m4 silenced full ghillie while your just beginning recon on a small town that you have been stealthily over-watching before going in. OK, ill go to my base, raided, wiped clean, stashes 1km away cleared out and dug up from multiple locations. Why even play when the entire immersive experience is getting droned from some lameo in a hydrangea bush outfit. This is the official experience.
How is this game so popular? The desync is insane. The modded servers are all cancer. The vanilla servers are poorly run. I don't get it. The ARMA engine needs to be put to pasture...
sali a la calle mate a dos personas, robe medicinas, robe armas de una base militar en el norte de rusia y torturé a un frances, luego instale el dayz 7/10 pq no te puedes culear a los zombis
