About
In death, the legend of Davy Jones splits in two: the Head that commands, and the Body that fights.
Bound together in a cursed alliance, you must carve your way through The Locker — a pirate underworld shattered into islands floating on an infinite Sea of Clouds.
Fight, fly, and conquer hell itself to reclaim your legend.

Control the powerful, headless body — Jones — and push through everything that stands in your way. Master visceral first-person combat with sword, gun and your own talking skull — Davy — who cracks wise and guides the way.
Explore the shattered islands of The Locker — an open pirate underworld of cursed shores, sunken ruins, and secrets waiting beneath the fog.
Every treasure you claim, every soul you free, and every victory on the ground fuels your might in the skies — because death here is only the beginning.

Command the skies as Davy — the sharp-tongued captain’s skull who never stopped scheming, even after death.
Take the helm of Abby, your colossal living ship — half whale, half war machine — and soar across the infinite Sea of Clouds.
Recruit Officers with unique powers, upgrade your ship, and lead them into evolving roguelite Hunts filled with explosive sky battles and colossal Behemoths.
Strategize, adapt, and abordage enemy vessels as you carve your way to power.
Every victory in the skies strengthens your dominion on the ground — and every defeat only feeds the storm.

Grand Pirate Action-Adventure: A story-driven journey through a surreal underworld that bridges brutal land combat and epic sky battles.
BODY × HEAD: You are both the Muscle and the Brain. Control the headless body on the islands, and command the skies as the captain’s skull aboard your living ship, Abby.
Visceral First-Person Combat: Slash, shoot, and grapple through intense close-quarters encounters using your own skull as a weapon.
Sail Your Living Ship: Gather your crew and command Abby across the endless Sea of Clouds.
Roguelite Hunts: Engage in evolving sky encounters and give Orders to shape each run — tactical choices that empower your crew with unique abilities and upgrades as you climb toward legendary Behemoths like the Kraken.
The Locker: Explore a pirate hell of shattered islands and infinite skies — where death is only the beginning.
Two halves. One purpose.
Grow into power, gather your crew, and conquer The Locker.
Become the legend that hell itself couldn’t drown.

Reviews
Do not let the reviews and discount fool you. The game is abandonned and far from finished. Last news were more than 4 months ago and 0 communication. Nothing here nor in the discord. Bought it at early access release and enven 6 euros feels too much considering what's in there. They suddenly added a roguelite mode even though the main game is not even close to finish. They have no direction and it shows. I will change the review if they update/communicate but right now stay away from it. And I know it is early access but that' s the point. If you want to develop with the community then simply disappear for months it makes no sense.
The hell? I'm looking at the Achievements and everything is glowing gold! Does everyone just but this game and never play it?

I was excited for this game and REALLY wanted to like it but the whole expieriance has been frustrating most of the game has felt like one long tutorial with a lot of bugs that I wouldnt expect such as enemies spawning inside geometry so I would clear an arena and spend ages trying to find an enemy only to have to restart from a save and re do the fight because the enemy was inside a wall or something and unkillable (this has happended numerous times throught my playthough). I have had a few quests bug out leading me to walk around confused for ages only to realise its a bug and restart. Currently I seem to have a bugged quest and am unable to proceed. I have looked up the issue and found this post - https://steamcommunity.com/app/2611170/discussions/0/682988553303540426/ but have been unable to use the advice as I cant remember where the locations they mention are and the map dosnt have the names of the different areas making navigating frustrating and confusing especially with the issues I have had. Im not sure why but all of the youtube playthoughs I have seen cap out at about 3 hours long and dont continue past the part where you get the lure wich I completed a bit ago so im not sure if others have had issues with progression? The gameplay is fun and has clearly been made by tallentaed people but I have found the experience more frustrating than fun and am unable to progress at this point.
It has the heart and loads of potential, but right now this just barely clears the bar for early access jank (I literally fell through the floor mid cutscene lol) Come back in 6-12 months and I'm sure it will be in a better place
not ready yet its still missing too much, this game is going to be super fun once polished
WARNING: It seems like the game was abandoned by the developers. The last update was in December 2025 and the last communication from them was in March 2026. Since then they are ghosting everyone on Twitter, Discord and Steam Discussion. Due to that - STAY AWAY. Verdict: I would seriously love to recommend the game since I have never seen visuals like this, but it needs a lot more variety and content which we are not going to get. + Positives + + Steam achievements (15) + The world is stunning + Pirates + The opening intro was really neat + Love the soundtrack + You never know what's next + Davy is really funny + Original setting + The fights are actually quite fun, even though you will see them all within the first 2 hours + Treasure hunting + Design of characters + Solid voice acting – Negatives – - No steam trading cards - No weapon variety (you get a sword and a gun, that's it) - No enemy variety (7 enemies) - Enemies have the same faces and since you have to fight them in meele it is quite obvious - Fast traveling is just from certain points to certain points (really limited) - Some unskippable animations take ages (docking ship is like 3 minutes) - Annoying air battles - Fighting flying enemies when you don't have ammo is painful - You get ammo by fighting in meele and yet you need it in certain situations - Grapling hook points are often unresponsive and don't work correctly - You can get easily stuck in textures or even in enemies - No boss variety - I fought the Fire imp like 9 times
another great single player potential that was left abandoned since 2025 , .... no one has heard from the devs ever since .
argghh yes it is good, i just wish it was a little more open world
Game play is boring. Story is lackluster. Combat is clunky and unrefined. This game could be cool but it needs an overhaul
2012 graphics which struggle on a high end PC. Also very bugged. The straw that broke the camel back was when I got bugged out of a boss fight after 5+ minutes because I performed a finisher kill on an already dead enemy. The game locked me out of any control and I had to watch my character getting slowly beat to death by enemies.
