Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Save the Darwinians, battle viruses, and solve challenges to restore order in a stunning, retro-inspired digital world. Winner of multiple prestigious awards, including the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at IGF 2006, Darwinia is a must-play for strategy and action fans alike.
Step into the vibrant world of Darwinia, a digital theme park created by the eccentric Dr. Sepulveda, where evolving AI creatures called Darwinians live. Their peaceful existence is disrupted by a dangerous virus, and as a hacker, it's up to you to save them. Dive into this corrupted digital realm, battle the virus, and uncover the mysteries threatening the Darwinians' survival.

Darwinia blends real-time strategy, action, and puzzles in an exciting mix. Control "programs" to fight viruses, herd Darwinians, and complete objectives. With a unique gesture-based control system, you draw shapes to summon units, adding a fresh twist to the strategy genre. As you progress, new abilities and tougher challenges keep the gameplay engaging.

Darwinia's retro-inspired, polygon-based visuals transport you to a colorful, abstract digital world that feels like a love letter to 80s classics like Tron and Defender. Its striking style, combined with fluid animations, makes it visually timeless. The game’s unique blend of nostalgia and modern flair led to widespread acclaim, winning multiple prestigious awards, including the IGF's Seamus McNally Grand Prize. Now fully remastered for modern systems, Darwinia’s classic charm shines as brightly today as when it first launched, making it a must-play for both old and new fans alike.

Truly a pioneer for its time. Nowadays that means lots of interface, pathing and broken level issues. Navigating those is the only challenge in this game. Did teach me not to use grenade launcher uphill. There is that.
The only problem this game has - it forces you to sacrifice hundrends of cute litte 1-bit darwinians to save the world.. and then you can recycle them back to life to send them straight back into digital war. 10/10. Everyone should play this. Sad that this game is quite short - well under 5h even if you are bad at rts.
One of the first real non-browser computer games I ever played, and it holds up to this day. Game is beautiful, challenging, and has a solid amount of well-scaling content. Some aspects require patience, but it's really not that bad. I don't find it tedious at all. As someone who doesn't like RTS games, I love this game because you are able to exercise total control over units (especially the squads) when you want to, and can let them manage themselves at other times. Perfect blend of hands-on action, and big picture map strategy. Nothing else like it.
Dr. Sepulveda, pull the udder one.
Painfully slow.
Much nostalgia for when I played this on its first release. One of those games that's relatively simple in concept and graphics but has interesting ideas and I find it pleasing and satisfying to play with about the learning curve and level of challenge.
neat little singleplayer RTS, it was one of the first games I had on Steam that wasn't a Valve game.
