Interesting game and mechanics but I never really got that far. might return one day and update this review. but more or less its a Pikmin type of game where you guide your fellows to their destination... not much more to say than its a nice little horror title.
作業感太重
Only recommending for the superb pixel artstyle, the music & the combat. Unfortunately, I can't progress any further. There's a part, very early, with three flowers blooming Daps, I need a lot of Daps to move forward but I don't have any. I know from before a fire took the spore Daps & gave them bodies, but I can't seem to figure out how to start the damn fire, so I'm either softlocked cause I couldn't keep enough Daps alive through that gauntlet, or I'm completely missing something. Despite all that, good game.

A short and unique experience that is shrouded by an unsettling atmosphere, I just wish that they could have mapped the dodge button on a trigger so that you can dodge comfortably while charging your shots. It also has some survival elements that add to the difficulty and build on the tension. Therefore, This gets a 6.8/10 from me and I recommend that you buy it on a sale.

No clue how I came across this but it rocked. Grim art style with a kind of lemmings/pikmin gameplay style. Worth your time!
"dap dap dap" ❤️🩹🖤🖤 🟩 the creepy atmosphere is excellent 🔷 some really good music and ambience 🔴 the gameplay just ends up tedious vibes: forest mushroom nightmare loops: explore, gather followers, don't let them die too much ramblings: this is a cool two hour game stretched out to be like three times longer than it has anything for. the aesthetic and mood is impeccable, but there's not enough to fill it out. it just feels like a lot of tedium and repetition, exploring the exact same looking forest environments with sometimes a different color hue, solving the same... puzzles, calling them puzzles is very generous, they're locks you unlock with x followers or a few rare times by luring x enemies onto them. it at least does introduce some different enemy types, but most of the difficulty i found was that the enemies just jumpscare you by spawning right next to you and bullrushing. the occasional ambush is fine, but it felt like eventually it was the only way combat happened the maps are large and kind of have branching paths, and hidden areas, and moving forward can lock you out of previous areas. and then they have one-time checkpoints as save points that trigger automatically, so it can save in such a way where you'll need to now repeat stuff in another area if you die before going forward or it may just lock you out completely. the exploration got tiresome because it didn't feel rewarding and all the areas are very samey, and the gameplay was too uninteresting and repetitive. i just thought it was spinning its wheels most of the time. verdicts: it starts with an amazing atmosphere, the music and ambience is great, it's creepy and eerie in good ways. unfortunately while i liked the aesthetic, the game stopped being interesting and just became monotonous scores: 🍄 out of 🔴 forms: 📟 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3686110561
Forêt électronique enfantée par les racines de ses parents. Fait par un couple. Beau et effrayant. Un peu chamanique.
Disclaimer: This will be quite extensive of a review. No spoilers but the short end of it... I loved this game so much. Little bit of a personal story: I bought this game some years ago but never ended up finishing it. Stopped around halfway done because I was so tense and scared to continued on, which was in no way a bad thing- Opposite rather. As of posting this review, I finally took up the resolve to restart my progress and see it through to the end. I was still so tense and paranoid just like all those years ago and I loved every single moment. What I loved: - Those damn graphics: It's an unique artstyle that is both cute, beautiful, and somehow unnerving at the same time. There was many moments where I just savored the scenery- walking around instead of spamming the dash button. - Story: Admittedly. there is not that much narrative depth but I enjoyed it for what it is. Self contained in its own universe, easy enough to follow along, simple, and the few characters you find along the way are likeable. Let's not forget all those daps! - Resource system and balancing: The game involves a good chunk of resource management, beyond finding and keeping those daps alive! Personally, I never had trouble running low on anything. Every level provides more than enough chances to gather what you need. In case you do finish a level with surplus (Plus any surviving daps!) it's all taken away and converted into forms of currency, leaving you with nothing when starting the next one. I think it's a great way to balance the game and rewards you for conserving what you gathered, since the converted resources are important to unlock one ending. - Combat/movement: Although it's a small roster, the enemies you will encounter are dangerous and how they are employed adds onto it. Even when I learned how to anticipate them ahead of time, there were some sections that still got the best of me. moving around is seamless and you're given enough dashes to maneuver yourself. Your ranged attacks have some tracking and decent hitboxes so it's not hard to aim at all. The game also gives you various forms of offense to deal with certain enemies as well. - Secrets and puzzles: If you're observant enough, each level incorporates some visual cue to let you find or know about the presence of collectibles. In general, it's not all that hard but enjoyable enough. Some considerations: - You will encounter many reddish objects that will explode upon being hit. To the dev's credit, they did showcase in-game how to farm them for resources but there is no option to see it again afterwards. I know this may frustrates some players, especially when you run low on making fires which are essential. - Difficulty: There is no option to make it easier or harder, and some players who are not reactive enough may encounter many losses or resets. It's still possible to beat the game! But it will be difficult to get those achievements! - After playing through, the game is noticeably short. Not an issue with me but some may be dismayed by it.
