Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 13 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You are a member of Task Force Dagger, an elite international special forces unit. Your missions take you across the globe—through frozen coasts, dense jungles, and war-torn cities. In Dagger Directive, tactical freedom is everything: pick your loadout, choose the time of day, and decide whether to strike hard and fast or move like a ghost.
Every mission is yours to shape.
Fight across three full campaigns, each set in a distinct region with its own atmosphere, enemies, and tactical challenges. Disrupt an eco-terrorist operation in the frigid Bering Sea. Battle organized crime across the volatile South Pacific. Crush an extremist uprising in Eastern Europe.
Each mission offers a different tactical sandbox, with objectives you can approach from multiple angles.
Gear up from a robust arsenal of 25+ weapons, each customizable with a wide range of attachments. Whether you're breaching doors with an underbarrel shotgun, clearing angles with suppressed SMGs, or picking off targets at extreme range, the armory has you covered. Supplement your firepower with drones, tripwires, grenades, and mines, and experiment with combinations that suit your style.
Dagger Directive blends modern game feel with grounded mechanics. Every bullet and piece of shrapnel has weight, velocity, and trajectory—simulated in real time. Adjust your scope for distance, lead moving targets, and respect the chaos of ricochets. Even grenades scatter deadly fragments that obey real physics.
This isn’t just spray and pray—it’s precision under pressure.
Each mission takes place in a large open area with multiple entry points, dense foliage, and tactical verticality. Control the environment by shooting out lights, hiding in tall grass, or stalking through shadows. Select the time of day before each op—just don’t forget your NVGs if you’re going in after dark.
The battlefield is a tool, if you know how to use it.
The Early Access version of Dagger Directive is already packed with depth and variety:
A 15-mission campaign that spans all three global theaters, offering replayability through multiple tactical approaches.
Full co-op multiplayer, so you and your squad can coordinate, flank, and execute missions together.
Over 25 weapons, dozens of attachments, and a wide variety of tactical gear—already giving you the tools to play your way.
A broad range of tactical equipment including deployable drones, anti-personnel mines, and multiple grenade types, adding layers of strategic options.
Post-launch development will expand both depth and customization:
A mission editor with full Steam Workshop support, allowing players to build and share their own operations.
An expanded tutorial system that dives deeper into advanced weapons, tools, and stealth mechanics.
A powerful Free Play Mode, where players can spawn enemies, allies, vehicles, and gear to experiment or create their own combat scenarios.
Modding support for weapons and gear, empowering the community to add entirely new content to the sandbox.

I was thinking for the past month I wanted to replay those old tactical games from the early 2000s and here comes this game. What initially started as an immediate buy has sadly turned into me debating if I should request a refund. Love the vibe of the game but its missing some crucial things that does not justify a 1.0 release. If the following features were added, I would buy again: -AI teammates I get it, the game is reliant on co-op. I don't really care though. Games like this need some basic ai teammates you can give simple commands to. Standard feature of the games its trying to emulate. Game feel incomplete without it. We already have several of these tactical co-op games that offer an inferior solo play option that feels tacked on. I see it may be added in freeplay in the future? Seems like people have been asking for this for years on the forums. -Transportation With these large open maps I should be able to hop in a truck or ATV and close the distance between objectives. Again, with this missing it feels incomplete. Overall the game is on the right track just needs more time in the oven. Would pay more $$$ for more features. This has the potential to be a spiritual successor of the hidden and dangerous series which I would recommend giving a shot while this game continues development.

Great throwback to the style of Delta Force 2. There's a lot to love but it's not perfect. Don't let the few negatives put you off, this one is a hard recommend. The 3 official campaigns took me just shy of 10 hours to beat on normal difficulty and have a variety of environments but typically revolve around you getting to place and killing everyone or blowing up whatever you're supposed to blow up then moving on. It would be nice to see more variety in objectives such as holding against counter attacks, escorting vehicles, CAS from the Blackhawk, exfiltrating under pressure, etc. More interesting events in-mission would go a long way too, perhaps a patrolling HIND or causing too much of a ruckus resulting in the enemy calling in a QRF for reinforcements. Similarly weather effects would go a long way to making missions more dynamic and replayable. For example; a snow storm, rain, or sand lowering visibility, or lightning providing momentary visibility/blinding night vision would be interesting. Strong wind that adds a horizontal offset or changes ranging of shots could be interesting too. The guns feel good to use and are mostly all functional as you'd expect but lack things like ammo variety (there are mags marked tracer but they just turn into normal rounds when picked up) and some sights just downright feel useless compared to others. The red dot sights for example are only really useful at ranges where pulling up your sights isn't worth it anyway, there are no holographic sights, the night vision sight isn't compatible with night vision goggles (in fact none of them are, making night missions a pain in the arse), and we can only hold one grenade in a 4 or 6 slot pouch despite the grenade being single slot. Gun variety could use some work, there's the usual lump of M4 clones and AK variants you'd expect plus MP5s, UMP, MAC10, and the usual sniper rifles and LMGs you'd expect. A few guns stand out for being more unique like the OICW (with proper airburst functionality), G11, and Calico but it'd be nice to see the armoury expand into more interesting options with attachments and weapons. Enemy behaviour has been a mixed bag too. For every one that I've found running into a tree or doorframe I've found three doing something actually intelligent. Whether the following behaviours are incidental or intentional by the devs is irrelevant, they were still cool - I've had AI squads have a point man and cover entry roads to towns, throw up smoke walls using multiple grenades from multiple units. Sniping with a suppressor is a little overpowered even at relatively short ranges (200-300 meters) but the AI don't immediately know where you are and will often get confused or look in completely the wrong direction. The way they respond to you with semi-accurate fire is cool but it'd be nice to see more experienced units capitalise on their numbers and organization rather than acting like every other enemy. For example, engaging a 5-man group could result in them laying down a base of fire while initiating a pincer attack, or attempting to suppress you with volume of fire while their sniper takes you out. Similarly it would be cool to see AI communication between groups, radio/vocal calls for backup, or taking defensive positions and calling for support, or attempting to retreat/run away to alert another nearby group for example. Right now the AI response to your attacks feels semi-organized, enough to be a minor threat to a solo player but strictly an amateur-hour response like every NPC got all their experience on an airsoft field. If you have even a basic understanding of fire and manoeuvre or setting up a killzone you'll slaughter every encounter with relative ease. Really looking forward to seeing where this game goes. What we have is fantastic and I can't wait for more.
The game has a good idea, and I can tell that what it wants to be is a strong game. Sadly it ends up being a really difficult game because the AI are far too good at aiming, hard to spot, and the time between restarting is not great. Also the performance is surprisingly poor for a game that is meant to have PSX style retro graphics.
the maps are big which should be a good thing.. if there were any vehicles, but without them you pretty much just get stuck walking 5 minute trips down empty roads or paths between each objective with the only thing interaction between the objectives being 1 or 2 patrols of 2-3 enemys. its just not engaging. the actual combat and gameplay is pretty good and satisfying enough but seeing as it takes half of your time of walking around just to get to the gameplay i cant recommend it.
Советую пока не покупать, так как игра очень сырая, боты палять через стены, да и видят тебя везде, стелс не работает, что с глушителем что без, разницы нет. Оптимизация на дне, с моим железои приходится играть на минималках.
Good potential but it is not very fun to play right now. + Simple, but good low poly graphics with no upscalers crap. Immersive loadout selection process. Variety of weapons and attachments, FPV and recon drones. - A lot of shimmering. No sprinting option, you have to just walk on big map. Die from 1-tap and then walk again from drop point. Unusual sight mechanics is annoying. No mechanical sighs option. It is hard to set up correct sensitivity, that will be comfortable if you use hip fire/sight/drone. You do not hear AI close to you, but it can see you through grass and one-shot you if you did not spot it fast.
Game feels very barebones with nothing really motivating to keep you engaged. Huge Fan of Delta Force so I was looking forward to this Game but sadly didnt really enjoy it that much! And the Fact that this is the 1.0 Release doesnt get my hopes up either! The Pricetag is pretty hefty for what is offered! I wanted to like the Game but in this state and for that price, I can not recommend it by any means. Sorry!
I am enjoying the game. Also, AI seems better with the 1.0 launch. It is a good FPS that remember the old days. But the biggest issue right now is the unstable save system. I lost my saves in the middle of the game (you can die a lot if you are playing solo), so I had to restart the entire level because only the auto saves works (and I could only use the ones from the start of the level). Not only that, but saving stopped working too (you click the button, nothing happens) - only restarting it fixed it. And since you cannot sprint (big map, your soldier jogs only - pain the &*¨& if you die and have to go back again), this becomes just another main issue. Until they fix this, which is the very basic of any game, I am not recommending it. The game is hard, grass is a mess (because of graphics, you can't see &&***), but I can take that.
A hardcore retro tactical FPS that pulls no punches with it's difficulty. Charming old school graphics/aesthetic, tight gunplay. AI for enemies on normal mode are adept at gunfighting and are increasingly lethal the closer you are to them, spot you from believable distances under reasonable circumstances, and adept at searching for you near your last known position. They use cover, smoke grenades and frag grenades to break line of sight and flush you out. been caught in several flanking maneuvers when I got complacent about my movement. Light and very simple inventory management. Without friends to play with, you are lone wolfing the missions. Very tense gunfights, esp. without friends. Some odd directional audio mixing from time to time and the odd visual bug occasionally. 9.5/10 stars. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a challenging singleplayer or coop tactical fps. I want more guns!!!
If you never played the old Delta Force FPS games, give this a try. It feels very different from contemporary tactical shooters but the fundamentals are all there. Here you can try your hand at some extreme distance sniping, which is a rarity in videogames.
