Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion

Got it on discount, but it's a pretty okay game. It has lots of Monster Hunter vibes mixed with simplified Armored Core stats and parts. The plot is pretty meh, so I mostly focused on the gameplay and I'd say this game felt like an improvement over the first, imho. Combat could use some more added depth, but it works, and there should be more part variety (a lot of stuff is just reused assets with diff colors and small stat changes). I think the RNG is okay-ish, along with the socketing system (attachments), but it would also need some touching up too. Here's hoping they make another entry in this franchise following what they learned on this one. Might have been more entertaining if I had friends to play with, but it was a pretty okay solo experience. Not sure if it's the kind of game I'd replay though.

its a fun game and has some of the worst story, voice lines, and pacing. the first game was the same and somehow a little better. this game plays better then the first due to the open world aspect that is semi independent of missions. otherwise its kind of the same thing without too many innovations. it might be the closets thing ill ever play to anthem according to friends and if the story of that game was worse I understand why it shut down. Titanic Scion is somewhat like a C list anime or an edgy fanfic: its goofy but takes itself far too seriously. your character seems completely disinterested in most NPC interactions but forgets critical info and seems surprised or concerned when the narrative needs it. that and when you reload they make a concerned "OH NO" every time as if they did not realize the gun clip would empty. to its credit however its combat isn't terrible. the NPCs are not super smart but they are not exactly meant to be, and you get to by heavy armored iron man. I do wish your second weapons didn't float by you like wings, but as far as a meck-builder-light games goes it could be worse. I got it on sale at 80% off, id recommend waiting for similar. and as a side note, all the DLCs are cosmetic, even the vehicle ones. the "exclusive" guns you can get are more or less level 1 reskins and you cant sell them. not going to say its not worth it to have options but you don't need them. the swords you get are actually pretty good but you will eventually find better.

垃圾游戏，做完他们自己肯定没玩过，也就值20，多了都白搭，剧情毫无意义，过场动画全是扯淡，一点大场景演出都没有，dlc更是狗屎，最后BOSS还经常禁飞，玩近战的只能乱蹦，完全就是花钱买了打完拉到，但是dlc最后的boss真恶心，懒得打了直接卸了，白搭钱的游戏，而且优化也一般，我这配置玩着还经常性掉帧，打虚空都掉没了

unless you get it heavily discounted. I don't really feel like this is worth it. Story is at best a 3/10 Gameplay is fine, I'd give it a 7/10. But it could be a bit better. Overall, I'd give an opinionated 5/10, but objectively I think its a 4 or even a 3. If you're wanting a mecha game its ok? But again, wait for a hefty discount if your wanting it.

Скорее да, чем нет, но чувства игра оставила очень смешанные. Мне нравятся местные дизайны, но анимации моделей, особенно в катсценах, весьма ужасающие, как и графика в целом прямиком из 2015 года. Сюжет сносный, но подан бог знает как и представляет собой наитипичнейшее аниме (один из персонажей просто постоянно орет, это фактически невыносимо слушать). Геймплей представляет собой достаточно увлекательный лутер-шутер в открытом мире с идеей аугментации тела персонажа, перекочевавшей из прошлой части, и сбора "генов" из монстров для этого, оружие достаточно разнообразное и позволяет подбирать уникальные по геймплею билды, но транспорт абсолютно отвратительный, к инерции и скорости бега и полета приходится привыкать, а наведение некоторых атак тупо не работает. В общем, если бы я не взял эту игру по скидке в 80% - я был бы очень крепко разочарован. Да, я слышал что в Японии не принято жаловаться на графику, как и не принято устанавливать региональный ценник, и что игры оттуда ценятся за другое, но daemon x machina очень тяжело оправдать в плане цены, особенно в стиме, есть масса более дешевых и более качественно сделанных игр. Да что уж там, не верится, но без скидки эта игра стоит дороже чем свежий RE Requiem.
