Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Originally, with the upgraded graphics, character designs, costumes, and mecha models, this should have been a solid sequel. But in keeping with the times, it got hijacked by capital and crammed with a bunch of trendy but outdated gameplay mechanics, resulting in an extremely convoluted system. They threw in an open world, vehicles (why drive or ride when you can fly in a mecha?), respawning mobs that pop up every time you pass by, mining, material gathering, junk-collecting, workbench crafting, and a heap of flashy but meaningless combat quests or side-story filler. My suggestion: release a version that strips out all that clutter and delivers pure, satisfying combat, a straightforward story, and streamlined mecha upgrades. That would most likely get rave reviews.

I like lootin, i like the shootin and the stabbing Could use work on the faces of talking characters Could use work on the vehicles
bullet sponge combat, shallow characters with oftentimes baffling motivations, pointless open world where you just fly over every obstacle between you and your quest marker, uninteresting suit design, unrecolorable weapons that clash with your armor's paint scheme, grindy boss fight drop mechanics that want you to kill a boss three times to be able to build a single piece of equipment, randomized equipment stats to trick you into spending even more time grinding for a high roll on the gear you want to use. this game was 80% off and i still feel scammed. if i was one of the suckers who bought it full price $70 dollars i know only death would wash away the dishonor
Dont buy this slop just play the first game or armored Core. They made mech fight tedious, the story is unengaging, its just farming or grinding if you do anything besides the main story. You cant convey an emotional experience if you see characters for 1 battle, show their backstory for 2 minutes and then kill them of.
Anthem meets Armored core. Couple more layers of polish and this game coulda been a hit, held back by poor dialog and somewhat janky controls. Fun concept.
If only this didn't come out the same day as a silksong, Titanic Scion would have gotten the attention it deserves. the First Daemon X Machina was fun tribute to Armored Core without being too derivative of it's influences, But Titanic Scion takes a huge Xenoblade X Chronicles to create the ultimate Mecha fan's fantasy. The sheer amount of options and choices in this to design your characters and mechas is staggeringly varied and expansive, the attention to detail in how they crafted the mechanics and their systems is impeccable and then the there's the story which pays homage and tribute to all of mech media (Not just Gundam, Evangelion). Truly one of the best unsung games of 2025.
I was thinking about writing a long form review, but the games probably not worth it. Game is mediocre and at best worth it at a deep discount of 80% or more only. The DLC is highly questionable when you can get the base game at 7 CAD off of G2A (likely remnant keys from humble bundle years past). The story is very weak and convuluted much like the first game. While i appreciate the voice acting it is simply a trade off of money that should have been spent to further improved the gameplay aspects. The series seem to have pivoted from giant mechs to body suits. A change that works and with the graphics overhaul there is this cool factor impresses. This seems to have come at the cost of gameplay that is barely or arguabling worse then the first game. There is for example no dedicated descent button while flying while the first game did. The behaviorial of the camera and controls while having an enemy locked-on is also very jarring and bad. Micromanging positioning during flight is impossible for melee. Too much unecessary grinding in the game that detracts from the pacing of the game. the game slows down your pacing while at the same time forces you into progressing the story to get access to areas with better gear adding to pacing issues. Claiming loot at a reasonable pace and skill progress seems to be a huge chore without the use of mods; which recommend if you wanted to squeeze any enjoyment from the gear in the game. Boss/Enemy design is either slow on purpose or broken. Alot of the times the boss will stall for a really long time to let you hit them before they perform their next attack. Or more dumb are the bosses with forced wait times in the fight because they burrow themselves underground and you have to wait. There is only 1 boss i consider a proper boss fight and it is a hidden boss that requires a stupid tower climb gimmik requiring 8 hours of holding a button; the dev can ♥♥♥♥ off. Please use cheat engine speed hacks to avoid this atrocity of a content decision. The game feels like they had devs with multiple content pipelines while not talking to eachother. The open world decent size with simple dungeons, world bosses, alot of random loot but shallow in terms of tie-in with the core story. Fully made outfits in the game but not accessible possibly due to time? mech skins that exists as skins only with no actual mech armor in the game. The game is full of these oddities that point to a lack of cohesion when it came time to put everything togeather. Suprisingly its a UE5 game that is built for the switch 2 so at best i can say the game at least runs good. I will mention that when the game loads from fast travel there are intermittment stutters before you get off the fast travel elevator. And there have been reports of inconsistent traversal stutter. I have above average specs and have maintained 120fps at 3440x1440p (modded resolution game doesnt support ultrwide natively) so your mileage may vary. The end result is an ambitous game from a studio that normally doesn't make something with this size of scope and were unable to realize that ambition. They still seem to have these weird female models in the game, like the first game, with the oddly wide square shoulders. Please body scan a real women for ♥♥♥♥♥ sakes. At best i can say is the game can be fun, but this is at best a foundation to build on top of. 80 CAD MSRP was someones stupid decision to try to sell a barely double-A game for AAA pricing; uttlerly stupid.
i liked the first game's story better, my gripe is that its marketed as a Daemon X Machina game when it shares little with the previous game. Also i was REALLY hoping for the Daemon of the 1st game to be here but alas there's nothing. The story itself is fine but i will have to say, i was excited for the TCG minigame but it feels clunky and is HELLA cheap. If you're expecting a game like the 1st one, this ain't it fam...but as a stand alone game? its mid leaning on good
what anthem could have been
