Fun game but I am not good at pinball so most of my runs are based on pure luck. Trying to do some of the missions can be very frustrating especially getting the top lights, the lights seem to love switching to lit up when the ball is close so it turns the light off. The boss can be very aggravating in some of the acts especially the one where you can only hit his from the sides and I can never hit him in the sides for the life of me so I cant ever get past that part unless I get lucky with a spell. It also feels like if you don't get the bonus area for the act you wont be able to scale enough for the next act to do any meaningful damage to the boss and you are just out of luck if you miss a bonus area.

As a roguelike/roguelite maniac, I stumbled upon this while casually scrolling steam and Roguelike tag pulled me in. Played the demo, had a lot of fun so I bought the full version. And honestly, it was worth. My gf that plays through shared library would say the same, but sadly she doesn't own it and budget is kinda low. For a small price we get classic pinball with roguelike twist. Various starting builds, a lot of upgrades, abilities that requires more than just time to activate. I'm suprised by how many clever mechanics developer squeezed in a classic arcade machine. Different map layouts, bosses, enemies, it really makes this game special and different from most cheap "X but roguelike" games. Also if you want to be real good you need to practice pinball skill. Upgrades cant carry you, at least not for first few acts. To trigger most abilities, you need to play your balls (hehe) right. For now, game is really good, considering it came out like 4 days ago. Managed to have broken builds few times, which resulted in infinity lenght run. Also managed to lose at the start because of bad RNG. But that's how it is in this genre. All things considered, great game. For indie roguelike, it's solid 7/10. With right and consistent updates, maybe 8/10. Really good job, keep it up dev. Also waiting for file with gametext, so there could be fan translations.
Edit: - I forgor to allow comments. - I dont think I did a good job to express myself below, so Ill do it now. Is the game good? Yes, do I recomend? Yes and no, because of the issues below, if you think it is a skill issue well thats on you, the problems exist, you dont need much playtime to see it, [strike]if you think the tilt on the 3rd map isnt that bad, good for you, for medium difficulty it is annoying as ♥♥♥♥.[/strike] The ball just choose to like the left side, ignore this Ball Pathing Issues: The ball physics feel inconsistent and frustrating. Instead of following realistic trajectories, the ball appears to be magnetically drawn to blockers while actively avoiding bumpers. Shots that should connect with bumpers or follow expected paths consistently dodge them, even when aimed carefully. This creates situations where the ball curves toward blockers when it was nowhere near them, particularly when aiming for exits near blocker positions. This isn't just occasional, it happens frequently enough to feel intentional rather than accidental. [strike]Map 3 Tilt Problem: The third map has a pronounced tilt to the left that significantly impacts gameplay. When trying to build multipliers or aim for bumper hits, the tilt works against you constantly. At Medium difficulty, this level of tilt feels excessive and undermines fair challenge. Suggested Fixes: Rebalance ball physics. Ensure ball trajectories respect player input without artificial attraction/avoidance behavior Address the tilt. Either remove the left tilt entirely, redesign the table as a standard angled surface, or make tilt intensity a configurable option reserved for Hard difficulty and above, not Medium Why It Matters: Gameplay should reward skill and precision. Currently, it feels like the ball fights the player rather than responding fairly to inputs. Removing these issues would make the game much more satisfying and competitive at higher skill levels.[/strike]
Banger!
Took me about 5 hours to clear the 4 available tables, but there are still multiple balls I haven't unlocked, plus a ton of other difficulties, and the codex shows a lot of stuff i haven't unlocked. It's very fun when it it works. I think there are bones here for an all time great if some more content is added. I spent like a million years playing Demon's Tilt and Xenotilt, but in the end I got tired of not being able to "progress" further in either of them. This is the doom of the roguelite enjoyer, I suppose. I will say the one thing that's weird about this is that you get unlimited bumps//tilts on a very short refresh timer in this game. I think it helps with what the game is trying to do (completing missions to complete rituals to really push your score/♥♥♥♥ up bosses) but if you come from a more "pure" pinball background it might feel weird that you can tilt like every 2 seconds. The game wants you to, also. I wasn't using it very much at first and I kept bouncing off the second table. When I changed my controls and went more into a tilt-heavy playstyle, I started clearing things MUCH faster. Anyway. For the price I'm already satisfied, and I have so much more stuff to unlock. Just don't expect a very "true to life" pinball experience with how often the game allows (and wants you) to tilt.
Didn't even need to try the demo. If you like ball, this one is elite ball
its pretty fun :)
