Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You awaken cold and weaponless in a realm shaped by death and memory. The air is thick with sap. The roots shift when you're not looking. And something old is watching.

Claim weapons and spells, learn from each fall, and forge your path in seamless, wordless co-op.

Swords, axes, clubs and bows - and tons of variants for each weapon.
Switch freely between swinging your weapons, firing your bow and casting your spells.
Block, dodge, and counter enemies in real-time.
Cast fire, ice, roots, lightning, poison, and wind using a gesture-based spell casting system that you upgrade throughout each run.
Chain powers together with weapon combos or effects to gain the upper hand.
Manage your resources, tweak your build, and twist fate to your advantage—or throw it into chaos.
Potions: Restore your health and mana to stay in the fight
Trinkets: Equip passive boosts and strange effects that shape your playstyle
And customize your run with modifiers for:
Damage, status effects, and elemental power
Drop rates, loot rarity, and enemy rewards
Mana regen, spell behavior, and resource costs
Enemy types, spawn patterns, and world conditions
Some upgrades are straightforward while others are unpredictable and risky—stack them wisely, or embrace the madness.

This world is not static. Each time you return, it reshapes itself.
The forest folds in new directions. Caves open where they weren’t. You may return to the same place—but it will not be the same.
Choose a starting weapon to carry with you
Equip your outfit and define your look
Select an altar offering, each of which grants a unique modifier to your run (some with unfortunate tradeoffs)
Discover new paths, side areas, and secrets each time
Die, learn, and push further.
Every death opens a new branch of the story—and every Crossing is yours alone.
Sap drips from the trees like blood. The roots twitch like veins. The forest does not sleep. It waits.
It remembers what you were.
It watches what you become.
And somewhere in its hollow chest, something is still beating.
This is not the end. This is between.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my VR gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/Q8OlR664VPE For the budget price, this is honestly a pretty good game. I don't think you'll find many games better at $10 normal price on Steam VR. It's a rogue-lite action adventure combat focused game with proc gen levels. I think the game took inspiration from Until You Fall, but the combat just doesn't feel as smooth and polished as Until You Fall. I think that's because the game is focused on drop-in co-op play. The bad news is that even though I had this option on during my playtime, nobody joined ... on release day. I also think it's just bad that you don't have proximity voice chat on by default. I think a simple option to mute the other party would have been sufficient to make it work since it is drop-in co-op. I think the single-player experience is okay. However, the boss fights seem maybe not tuned properly for solo play. At least, I couldn't get past the first boss. The first boss spawns endless adds so you're basically running a lot of the time to avoid danger. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 5090, I was getting a steady 90 fps. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs. You have full locomotion, along with smooth (too slow) and snap turning. You can play comfortably seated as you can manually adjust height. Looks nice with volumetric fog and the narration is a bonus. Other than that the core combat feels poor, and detection for blocking (especially against combos) can be iffy if it's not a vertical or horizontal slice. With how close you need to be to hit enemies it can be quite difficult to see where the telegraphed attacks are coming from (especially in quick-fire 3-4 hit combos from larger enemies). The best strat is to keep your distance until they've finished an attack and quickly apply the combo (which feels poor with how floaty the weapons are). Online co-op with a code did not work. Overall I guess it's only $10 but I'll just play something else. EDIT: I don't know what the point is to introduce the blocking mechanic when you make all the boss attacks for the troll boss unblockable. Having to turn my back and sprint away from the boss when he wheels up an attack is antithetical to the sort of gameplay promoted by the systems.
Honestly had a really fantastic time! First time playing I found another person who was definitely also new. We communicated well using only body language (Can I have this item? Are you sure? Thumbs up) (Did you want to use your arrows on them? etc) Definitely not a super populated game, we died and found each other again almost immediately. Since then I've done a full run and didn't find anyone, but the game itself is a treat. There are definitely some jank issues (the club will often fail to register hits if you swing it too fast. Enemies if they're slightly elevated above you are hard to block and bosses can kinda get all up in your face when you're trying to get combos off on them). But I personally feel that these little issues don't take away from the experience too much. The game as a roguelike doesn't have extreme depth or anything, but the later, higher level spells you can get are cool. With a few more items and spells and more players, this has the potential to be phenomenal!
The game is fun, but there's a big BUT. There's no save - it's a roguelite and you play until you die. So I played in co-op with my friend and we played a single run for around 2,5 hours until we died not because of difficulty, but because we were exhausted with all the weapon swinging. But, like I said, the game is fun, and we really liked the gameplay loop, so these over 2 hours went really fast. You fight enemies, find new weapons, upgrade your perks and skills, beat the final boss, and the environment changes to a new one with tougher enemies, you find weapons with higher tiers, you further upgrade your perks and get new ones. There's a lot of weapon swinging. You can compare the fighting system to Until You Fall - you don't see the lines how to attack, but you can block enemy swings with your weapon, and it's directional. You also need to use combos to fight efficiently - every weapon has a different combo, for example you swing from bottom left to upper right, then from right to left. The combos are between 2 and 4 swings. Some weapons have additional combos with elemental elements, so you can use more than one combo per weapon. You can also find and carry health and mana potions, and there are potions that temporarily enhance your weapon with elementals. You also have a bow with very limited number of arrows, and you can find elemental arrows. The game is really good, but I wish we could save a co-op game after beating a boss and load it again another day with a friend. That's basically the only big issue. Other than that, there could be more variety in enemies, it would improve replayability. And it seems that you have to grind a lot if you want to get enough currency to buy some cosmetics, but it's only for other people to see it when you play co-op.
So far pretty fun, though I've only gotten past the first couple of bosses. It's reasonably intense, but not too crazy, the weapons and spells mostly feel good to use, and enemies are decently quick and pretty dangerous. Only complaints so far is I've had a bit of trouble getting the homing spells to cast, and I wish there was two-handed weapons. Will update my review as I get further in.
Melee weapons constantly collide with seemingly invisible obstacles. Otherwise seems okay, but I'll be setting this aside until some patches roll out.
The game is simple, but very addictive. I honestly did not expect that I would like it this much. The gestures and strike patterns are a cool addition, and the game makes you actually swing your weapon, no wriggling about. Mechanically, it reminds me a bit of Until You Fall, but with magic. You have to learn to block and parry, and learn the attackers' patterns to advance. It doesn't vibe well with Virtual Desktop (yet), and has some stutters, but Airlink and Steamlink worked perfectly fine for me. I have one bigger gripe, which is the lack of a save system, so if you exit VR during your run, the run is finished and you will have to start over. Not a deal breaker for me, but that would very much still be a nice to have. :-)
