Its a good game in some aspects but since the only thing that made this game any hard at all is the very annoying RNG battles you cant avoid. The AI is very stupid and only makes RNG moves and doesnt block deadly damage, it makes it boring. Its sad that so many devs dont know how to make a game hard other than random elements or OP cards that disables your whole deck and forces you to construct a specific deck for just one fight. I personally hate the mechanic of "you have to play exactly this card before that turn or its over", its BS. Nice graphics and good music doesnt make up for it imo specially for this price tag, way overpriced.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very fun deckbuilder/card game. The game has a single player story mode with 5 campaigns, where each is roughly 10 hours, so you can easily have 50+ hours of content here. Plus also the roguelike mode. The campaigns have a nice progression system, where you obtain money after each match to buy or craft new cards. And for each playable character there are vastly distinct deck archetypes that they can use. On top of my head there is pirate tribal, cannons, bombs, dragons, discard matters, golem, elf, pop star groupies (?), burn, poison, cooking, martial arts, samurai, traps, and many others. The game is played in a 4x4 board, where card positioning matters (cards that are adjacent, in the front row or back row etc). This create many interesting decisions to where to place each minion. Being a digital card game only, the game also takes advantage of this to create whacky effects that would not be possible in a paper tcg. Stuff like adding (or creating) cards into the opponents hands, deck, permanently modifying cards in your hand or deck and so on. Overall I am having a lot of fun with this game and it's been one of the best card games I played in years.
One of the better deckbuilders i've played! The art style is amazing, it has a story mode for a bunch of the characters, and the unlocks give you reasons to replay. The run based mode feels a bit like Legends of Runeterra's roguelike mode but it doesn't let you break the game as much (but also it doesn't try to squeeze every bit of irl money out of you for leveling/unlocking characters).
Simple battlefield placing card game. Has a lot of content in the 1.0 version. The campaign has you playing 3 chapters with each of the 5 characters. Each of them have a unique playstyle with 3 or so deck archetypes to play around with . I found the game to be fairly easy since I'm used to these types of games but the game never gets completely stale since you can swap between decks to try different builds and it even helps you pre build decks to try out different play styles. TLDR I had fun
Blitz blitz blitz Easy to pick up card game with a progressive story and multiple avenues of attack from the decks. If you enjoy card games it's an easy pick up.
I figured everybody else not recommending due to bugs was being hyperbolic. The day after I bought this, a patch hit that broke nearly every trigger in the game. If a card is supposed to do X when Y happens, it just won't work. How did the developer not notice this? And it was the first patch in apparently 9 months.
A really in depth card game the only flaw it has is no controller support other then that it is awesome!
Since I've found myself addicted to this over the last few days I felt I should sing its praises. I absolutely LOVE this game!!! I've played my fair share of card game roguelites but Cross Blitz seems to be scratching an itch I didn't even know I had. The art grabbed me immediately when I saw it in video back during its early access and the entire world is incredibly charming. It feels like I'm playing a saturday morning cartoon as I'm going through the story mode. I can understand why some people might not gravitate towards it as it is quite cheesy but that's what I love about it. If the story mode isn't your thing the pure roguelite mode is super fun on its own. Both modes have tons to unlock too. I'm not usually a completionist but I've made it my mission to get all the accolades in story mode to get those sweet sweet card backs. For me this game has exceeded my expectations. I really hope they continue to add-on to this wonderful game with more cards, factions, and storylines. I honestly can't get enough. Thanks Tako Boy!
I don't feel like it's fair to thumbs down it for this, but Cross Blitz. Is. So. YAPPY. Good god. You're reading five minutes of idle chatter to get into every battle. And the battles are built to be quick, so you're right back in the chatter. With stuff like Anode Heart Layer Null, it's pitched as a narrative CCG, and even it's much less yappy than this. The writing is *okay*, but not okay enough that I want there to be this much of it. I wouldn't want there to be this much of it in a traditional rpg, and I say this as an Arknights player. Where I do think Cross Blitz shines, though, is in the work put into it. There's tons of cards, synergies, builds. There's a full campaign for each of the five playable characters, probably ballparking 15--20 hours total. There's a proper roguelike mode where you don't have to endure the yap. The art is lovely and the music is decent. It's not a bad game, it just needs to calm down. I think if you like stuff like Foretales but want something a bit more mechanically grounded, this is a good pick for you. If you just want a card game to mess around with, this might not be the top of your list, but if you've already played your Monster Trains and Slay The Spires, you could grab this on sale. I want to like it a lot more than I do, but I can't hear myself think around these characters' constant chatter. Edit: Very minor bug. Some sound effects are not tied to the master volume, like the SFX for moving between menus in the main menu. Also, the way combats are designed sometimes you'll run into an enemy designed to screw your deck in particular. ex. they're running the 'pirates cost 1 more' relic against your piratespam deck. I don't think there needs to be anti-strategy this specific. You'd never run +cost on pirates against the computer, and if they run it you have to go through the tedium of making another deck.
